if you are doing it for the money I heard life drawing doesn't pay that much maybe 50-100 for an hour or two. The studios is what you want for money. As for the second part of your question, the bigger the studio you work with the less likely that happens.

there are many other sites like artstation that sell refs(flipped, cubebrush, ect). You should shop around because they might have them for different price or they might have discount. As for the different licenses always go for the cheaper option because they are all the same pics, unless you want to draw the ref and sell it you may need to pick a different one.

There are cheaper packs, I own a couple and didn't pay more than $3. I checked a few hours ago and saw one or two packs for $1. I think they also do sales, so maybe just wait a bit for discounts if you really really want a specific set of reference photos.

Only the 800 wide angle one is good (the one in the pic related). The other two are absolute shit. The lens they used is way too shallow, making them have to shoot the model from a distance to avoid blurring, diminishing the wide-angle effect.
