Practical ways to market art online?
> be me
> artist, decent skill level
> want to share & maybe sell my work online
> algorithms bury everything unless you’re already famous
> what’s actually working for you guys right now?
> do hashtags still matter?
> better to post finished work only, or also WIPs/sketches?
> do niche communities (discords/forums) help more than broad > > > platforms like insta?
> is building a personal site still worth it?

I have no clue friend, but if that's your drawing it fucks hardcore. You can try contacting some metal bands or music labels, they might have need artwork. Worth a shot.

If we're talking about actually selling your art, then you need to actually invest in yourself and spending some actual cash to make cash.
Spend some money on advertising and marketing.
