-gofile essentially is pixeldrain without an account requirement, but if i'm not mistaking it for some other site, it shows the country the file was uploaded in, a vpn would've been useful perhaps but there's a vpn hostility going on for a while, so i didn't even bother connecting to one
-catbox is the next thing, but the faq states they keep ips, no mention for how long, not like the others don't i'm sure they do, but we keep the stuff behind funny garbles for a reason, some artists are aware their shit is getting ya-harred, some of the some are anal about it, they can't bother the hosting sites when their ya-harred slop is expired. even if nothing ever happens, it's a good habit to maintain so litterbox it was/is

Request for how to get the default G pen in CSP to look/"move" like this?

I asked the artist of the work in picrel (the 4 separate image are from the same artwork and use the same brush) and she told me it was the G pen brush that they modified. Issue is I spent hours and days trying to replicate it but I cant seem to get it the same as theirs...

it has a "crunchiness" and sharpness to it. It looks to be pen pressured, the lighter the hand the less opacity? and the heavier the hand the higher the opacity of the color. The reason I mention opacity is because of the translucency in some areas of the art piece. The ruffles of the skirt has a reddish brown color lineart, and you can see the lines on the skirt its the same brush and color but it looks transparent, which if Im not wrong, Is all the same color but with different opacity of that color. The speech bubble in korean, shows the features of this brush entirely, from pen pressure to the opacity and sharpness of the brush

I know I lack knowledge about brush settings, I was hoping someone can help me try to get the brush to look as close to this!

as for the other artwork under the arrow, I wanted to ask if there is a brush that's similar to that, I'm not sure if its another modified default brush or one from the catalog. if you can see the arm on the left, the lineart color is "manipulated" by the green color underneath, which shows this is another lineart brush with an opacity feature.

well it's not that different than the old one, the texture is now on outline instead of multiply. i mostly try to replicate "feel" of a pencil rather than "look" of it.

I also had my doubts about everyone shilling CSP here, until I tried it. I'm pretty used to photoshop but drawing in CSP once convinced me and I'm never going back. Even if it just feels slightly better it's a big deal considering how much time you will spend drawing. That's also not mentioning other side features that are built in or are done better for drawing.

For assets, the only way is to export them manually inside CSP. Brushes are to be exported in the subtool menu, textures and models can be shared as .clip documents.

Not that anon, but from my experience painting exclusively with Photoshop from 2011 to 2019: it's because it is simply not built for digital art. Photoshop is an image editing software first and foremost. While CSP was developed with manga artists in mind, the people at Adobe were thinking of graphic designers, photographers etc.
You can absolutely draw beautiful things with Photoshop, and some of the best artists in the industry use it, but just be aware that the software is not intuitive for drawing and can be a huge resource hog (I've had many lag/freezing issues with the Portable versions specifically).
Since you mentioned brush settings, IMO the brush library alone makes Photoshop worth trying. You can download a lot of professional-grade brushes for it that CSP doesn't get. Photoshop is also much better at post-production (gradient maps, correction layers etc) and text editing than CSP, for obvious reasons.
My advice is to mix the two to get the best of both worlds.

Surprisingly she uses mostly the default brushes but they're probably somewhat modified, at least the 6b pencil she sketches with the initial lineart seems to be?
It goes way thicker than I can make mine go, even pressing super hard I can't get as thick of a line as she puts with it there seemingly very lightly.
But either way you can see her open up the brushes briefly here and there on default panels and then once I caught this for the most recent ones

It's really the blending engine with narrow spacing that fucks over CSP.
Most of photoshop's brushes are just pure stamps. The difference between a stamp brush in CSP and photoshop isn't too huge (photoshop using the GPU maybe makes the brushes like 30% faster). Photoshop brushes that have some sort of blending turned on also chug at large sizes.
