Where I can get praised for my work? Yeah. Fuck criticism. I'm ready critical enough of myself, I don't more of it. People often mention Reddit as a safe space, but that couldn't be further from the truth. People there are just as much of assholes as the ones in here. So, where can a beg find some appreciation?

If you want praise then you have to draw things for fun. You will never get praise for a serious study because the point of studies is to be criticized and see where you can improve. There's no reward for drawing something well during a study, that just means you wasted your time studying nothing.

If you draw rei and eminem having a rap battle, then the drawing would be something funny meant for people who know the context and can appreciate the joke. They're not going to say "erm you didn't draw eminems skull realistically" because that's not the point of the drawing. Likewise, if you drew a perfect eminem and asked for praise, nobody will give it because accurate drawings are not impressive.

Uninspired Deltarune fanart I drew a while back that for some reason (probably a bot) recently ended up on r/Soulelle, where grown men discuss how much they want to fuck a teenage deer, imagine /k/ without the guns. I'll entertain your post more seriously. Praise will not help you. It can even be harmful. What you need is a thicker skin. You get criticism everywhere, and if it really affects you, it's a you problem.

Rather than going to social media, read books, articles and tutorials. They don't criticize you, and if you're really as self-aware as you think, you will improve to a level where you might get some authentic praise for what you do. Just believe, brother.

I think it's natural to be affected by criticism if you're truly putting your heart in your work. I acutally think ita good thing. Not being fazed by it requires a certain level of detachment that I don't think I can achieve. But putting your work out there and getting no appreciation just gets tiring. Sometimes you just want to hear something nice *and* genuine for a change.
