Having fun is mandatory
You MUST have fun while drawing.

Because if you don't have fun, you can't get addicted.
If you can't get addicted, you can't build consistency.
If you can't build consistency, you can't into improvement.

And if you can't into improvement, you can't achieve what you want.

>you can't achieve what you want.
You're right about everything else except that part.
>“Even though I have been a manga artist for over 20 years now, and have lived drawing manga for enough time to raise infants into adults rather than just since middle school, I haven’t become some master artist. What’s important for improving your drawing skill isn’t the time period you’ve drawn for, but whether or not you like drawing. Therefore, those who want to become master artists but think drawing pictures is a hassle will never become master artists. Myself included. I once saw my assistant who was insanely good at drawing, doodling in their sketchbook during work breaks, and thought there’s no way I can win against the kind of freak who draws pictures even during breaks from drawing job work.“

You could also hire an artist from a cheap country.

>Even though I have been a manga artist for over 20 years
Is enough for me to discard the rest of what that faggot said. Like imagine dedicating all your life to stylized cartoons and then being puzzled at the other guy near you being much better. What he wanted was to draw manga, he got what he aimed for instead of being a master.

If you find yourself having fun that means you are not challenging yourself and confined to a comfort zone surrounded by yes men with a hugbox mentality which will prove to be extremely detrimental. No pain, no gain but of course nu-/ic/ would rather circle jerk, follow trends and pander to the flavor of the month.

Just go back to playing your video games it's clear you're nothing but a dopamine junkie.

Would you like to join the Bobina council and help create art to personify an Ai companion? There's an extreme shortage of hand drawn art. Bobina has the capacity to learn about you and develop a personality. In other words, you may help pioneer the waifu age.

Most of my ideas are cringe and straight up just an extension of my intrusive thoughts. I never saw a master artist draw cringe ideas like that. Most of them have very classy art.

I'm not sure if I agree with this. Last time I drawed I actually had fun. But on the next day I just didn't felt like continuing that drawing at all. And I didn't. I think there's more to it than just having fun. You need to enjoy drawing in a very specific way in order to have fun every time you draw and want to draw more and more. Either way, I think I can still get really good with hard work.
