It drives me insane that there are still animation industry cock sucking shills who act as if there isn't any homogenisation in the artistic styles of the animation industry, or try to play it off as something that always happened ("L-l-l-look at hannah barbarah!" - as if there isn't any difference between a single studio having a style and the entire industry having the same fucking style), or even more annoying; pretend that we HAVE to have the bean mouth, because animation has to be simplified (as if other art styles are somehow that much more costly, or there aren't other equally efficient styles).
But what's the defence for pixar? Their films are very high budget, what are they cost cutting with the shitty bean mouth 3D models?
Even the noses are all similar little balls, where as they previously had variety, like Boo (?) having a nose bride.
>at least half are not designed aka simplified for animation, multiple frames per second.
To be fair, OP's pic has a bunch of eastern illustrations up against animation stills, so it's not like either side is doing a truly reasonable comparison.
