That makes it 100% a fault of the person posting and their mindset when it comes to daily posting. Just dont think of pleasing others with your posts. This is purely for building a persional habit. The rules are there mostly to keep you in check from bullshitting yourself

There's days where due to how life goes and how much others demand of my time, I dont get shit done in 30 minutes before rollover outside of polishing a turd or making adjustments to a sketch. But even then, there's value in showing up and doing the work, no matter how bad it may be on a given day. Also helps as a warning sign to yourself that you might be using too much of your time earlier in the day to do meaningless and unproductive things.

When I get into a streak of drawing shit doodles or sloggishly doing one or two croquis figures that take way too much time, shortly before rollover, it ques me in to the fact im falling back into doomscrolling habits and yes-saying to every demand made of me by my surroundings, Posting daily has had lots of positive effects on me outside of art. It has made me more conscious of how I use my time.

Anybody got any DAD conspiracy theories? I think Dr Freebase and Cobbeli are the same person.

I didn't realize the "DAD Hands" challenge was over today. :( I just kept overcomplicating things and stalling until the last minute. I thought about being a cheater and submitting an old (not so good) drawing, (picrel) but I deserve to take the L on this one for my own bad habits. I moved to windows 11 recently because my pc shat itself and i had to do a fresh drive wipe anway. It took a while to get it looking half way decent and after a day of powershell fuckery i got it to a state where I was happy using it, but that fact alone is the biggest issue with w11 you have to actively fight against it for it to be worth using. I've been holding off on updates for a while cause i've only heard bad things and now i'm really thinking of switching over to another OS but it all sounds like a major headache as of this moment, there's a lot of apps i use that won't be compatible and i'm already behind on uni work from being sick.
