3. Draw straight from imagination once you have fine tuned your anatomy muscles
4. You can also create poses in 3d and draw a. One to one, b. Draw from memory, c. A combination of Draw from memory and referencing
After a while you can rotate and pose bodies in your imagination, exaggerate, translate and emphasize certain poses

Hello, new to this board in general, i have some art that wants critiquing and some advice in general, here are 3 figure drawings are did today in picrel, i am personally very surprised i was able to do this as yesterday's were really bad, however i feel like im in my own bubble saying this, so i'm looking for an outside view. I first did a quick gesture of each, then removed that and tried some construction, then just filled in the rest. I only did as many gesture lines and constructions as i needed to get it looking like the references, to me. Is this a good way to study? I personally suggest you should try to learn all of them, at least give them a try. Usually, all methods of abstraction and construction lean towards certain almost universal truths of the figure, so learning all the methods will only benefit you. You really can't go wrong as long as you are drawing and learning.
Once you learn the main muscle groups you should consider a more in depth study of anatomy, and after that you go back to simplifying everything to muscle groups.

Same thing for gesture drawing, different methods start at different places, but they all get to the same points. You can't go wrong as long as you are practicing some method.

neocities doesn't use ftp and you have to pay $5 a month if you want to use your own domain. using their subdomain is cute enough.
this is the CLI uploader: https://neocities.org/cli my site was huge before i branched it off into github sites and it would take over 10 minutes to push and fail sometimes. it will check EVERY FILE individually.
my neocities site is mirrored on github. dunno if any visits either of them.
another alternative is cloudflare, which can import a git repo. i don't use it and can't answer questions on it
