I feel like all my drawings have been shittier lately but looking back i know that's not true. Sure my drawings are all sucky anyway but when compared to when i first joined DAD there's been an improvement, yet somehow back then i was more satisfied with my work. Anyway now drawing doesn't feel as fun anymore and more often than not just leaves me feeling frustrated, any other DADs know this feeling?

I was thinking about turning my streak frequency down because of this because I am scared that drawing will turn into a chore for me :) But even then I am not sure that helps. For me, the only times I'm really satisfied again is when I work on one big project for >30 minutes. If I make something really cool that makes me feel good about my skills, somehow that does make it all feel worth it. It varies for me. Sometimes I feel great about my stuff, other days I feel like I've regressed a lot. What I've realized though is that usually when I feel like this, I also feel like I improve a lot more shortly after. It's probably that meme about difference in technical and observational skill.
If it's been a very long time though and it's only been getting worse, maybe try doing something way out of your comfort zone? Something you never really do. Could help you reset

Same and I've been doing this for close to 6 years now. I always get the urge to just nuke all my socials and start over clean maybe with a simpler or more appealing art style and i've done so over 4 times so far, thankfully DAD has a delayed nuke button so I've always canceled whenever I came back to my senses. As for drawing not feeling fun anymore it comes and goes for me, the one way I found more joy in it was to change the rigidity of the process, something like say go directly into painting on a sketch rather than doing a full clean lineart or just doing shorter drawings. Drawing in general should be more about expression rather than strict technicality imo, you do studies to express your ideas better rather than achieve a "perfect" drawing.

since I started drawing NSFW I've been logging and collecting ref and inspirtation, tutorials, reference, guides, useful resources, useful tools etc. on channels on the server - using it like an art library to draw upon when I want to work on something.
I'm at the point now where me and some server mates have curated another pretty big library, there's another on a /ic/ discord server (if you know you know) and so collecting names of specific models (for use in life drawing study classes or reference when you draw) became a natural part of that.
The same way I collect artbooks, or artist portfolios, manga, doujins, image sets, concept art and cosplay sets in an app called Suwayomi, I've been collecting high res only fans photos, poses, etc. in a subfolder system on a hard drive so I can run it through a timed life drawing class program called GestureDrawing!
Anyone who knows me in these servers knows that I'm sort of weirdly organized on this kind of shit to an almost librarian like degree and am always more than happy to share resources or help out with people who need ref or tutorials or whatever. I actually used to do this kind of stuff as a career, when I worked in research and marketing in another life time.
You can see in the attached image I wrote a guide on a desktop program called Suwayomi - if you want it.
Also included an example of how I organize my server art library, and the life drawing reference folder (highlighted in an additional window are some of the pregnant models I've collected so far - if you want a me to upload a zip I'd be happy to, or if you want to use these as a jumping off point to find more, more power to you).

I was talking with a friend recently and made the weird realization that there are probably more Euros than Americans on this site. The threads are completely dead during usual US hours. Someone with tight lips and solid muscles. A fair bit older than the trio your quite cynical towards the world. You've had your fair bit of tragedy and as such you've quietly resigned yourself to a peaceful yet stagnant life. You once had a strong sense of justice working as a solider of sorts, but a life of senseless violence has left you devoid of all meaning. Perhaps this journey will light a fire under you like all those years ago. You see it as your duty to make sure these kids remain safe during their travels, you want to shield them from the harsh truths of this world and prevent them from losing their innocence as you have long ago. The comical partner looks up to you, they see in you the person they must become for their loved ones and perhaps as the parental figure they've never had and you see in them a younger version of yourself, not yet crushed by the reality of this world.
>Sex Appeal
Real easy on the eyes, the exact specifics of what you look like depend on the writer/character designer's fetish but one things for certain, you are irresistible. You and those around you have suffered at the hands of those in power and as a result you've become completely disillusioned by people in general, you can't bring yourself to trust anyone and always assume the worst of them, this mindset in turn makes it much easier to lie and manipulate others; I mean what's the issue, if you didn't do it first they'd have done it anyway. You tell yourself that once this threat has been vanquished you'll simply go back to your evil ways but while adventuring with the party a certain feeling stirs within you, a feeling of righteousness you've not felt for quite some time. Hard to say since I'm not you, but it might just be something as simple as the subject of the drawing. Usually the pics you see reposted on image boards have that soulful quality even if it's some no name artists scribble. There's a distinct feeling of quality and care.
