I love Brent Eviston. His The Art and Science of Drawing book leveled me up from /beg/ to /int/! I recommend him to any 4channer!

I have to agree with this fellow 4channer, Brent Eviston is perhaps one of the greatest artists of our time, his use of line and understanding of light and shadow, the masterful gestures, and how well I understand anatomy and proportions is really next level! Can't recommend his courses enough, especially the "HOW TO DRAW: A BEGINNER'S GUIDE" and "SHADING: LEARN TO DRAW WITH DRAMATIC LIGHT & SHADOW", both available now at $99!

any reasons why? The guy teaches well, plus he looks a kind of adorable

if you gonna make a thread at least make it worthwhile. What do you dislike about him? His perfect drawings? His smooth hands? His god-sculpted face? The tasteful beret?

He's really insistent on the overhand grip which is quite pointless digitally

This is one thing I don't like about him as well.
Overhand grip makes sense on a vertical drawing surface. 99.99% or people using his videos will be drawing on a horizontal surface with no tilt, yet he never ever gives you a heads up not to use the overhand in that situation.
