You don't have to practice. you just draw whatever it is you want to draw and use ref and you naturally get good without ever drawing anything you didn't want to. practice is for artists scared to commit to drawing what they want.

Your problem is your definition of Better.

You are exploring for a style and have yet to draw something that Posterity will define as Yours. This takes time and its only found at the end of a pen and not up Loomis' ass. When I see someone's work, I consider what market it would be viable for. Patterns for clothes, greeting card cartoons, skins for game characters, what projects could you apply your art towards.You may never draw realistically, but why make that a goal? Show me things no one has ever seen before.
