Um... the mechanic of defeating enemies by jumping on top of them is way too generic. just using it doesn’t make you a 'mario clone'. I guess to be considered one you’d also need to be able to activate special blocks by hitting them from below... Anyway I’m aware that the game still lacks some kind of movement gimmick to give it a strong identity, but that’s something that needs to develop organically without forcing it.

Um... my project is still quite far from being finished [I’d say I’m about 60% done, switching the programming language from javascript to C cost me several months of development], so I haven’t felt the need to share it outside this board. I don’t think normies would be too interested in half-baked stuff anyway... That’s why right now I’m more focused on actually developing the game than on the social side of things.
