>Fill in the colors with a big 20px pressure size brush
>Ignore the paint bucket
>Ignore slight spills over the lines
>Shade within the same layer using an image as a palette

No not really. In fact you shouldn't do that. I was doing an assignment for character design that i have to finish literally today and that was a way to speed it up, but you shouldn't rely on the ruler. You still need to need anatomy, perspective, shape language, all that
