In Arab countries, people seriously care about their "tribes" and they're a major part of social organization.

It's not the same. American social divisions are rooted in salient distinctions in phenotype, language, religion, culture, etc. In Arab countries, you can have three guys who share the same religion, same language, same general appearance, same food, same music, same clothes, same hobbies, etc., but two of them will team up against the third guy because the first two are "family" (they share a common ancestor who died 800 years ago).
