I might be retarded and some other Swede can correct if that's the case but (outside of slurs) there's only one word for dark skinned people.
Mörkhyad = mörk - dark / hyad - skinned. Dark skinned.

But I feel like nobody actually uses that outside of like news describing criminal suspects and wanted posters.
Where I live in rural/northern Sweden people just say neger = negro or svartskalle = black head. Both slurs that are considered hate speech today I guess.

It's hard to explain but svartskalle is a derogatory term in Swedish, same as guling (old word for Asian people, basically meaning "yellow person").

Svartskalle is the Swedish multi-use anti brown person word. Very similar to "nigger" and even translations make that comparison.

By far yes.
Back in the peak of the refugee crisis there were towns up here that got packed ful of immigrants but it didn't last long.
1. They themselves didn't wanna live here and actually protested and refused to leave the buses in some cases.
2. Northern Sweden doesn't have access to the same welfare offices, unemployment programs and immigration services and they do down south.
3. Fewer people in general.

You still see them but they are incredibly rare compared to down south. And extremely segregated. Norrland (aka the north) is pretty much lawless. Police and emergency response time can be hours, even as much as 8 hours up in Lapland. With a population mainly consisting of old angry boomers, all armed who do not give a single shit about the law.
Around 30 000 people go missing every year in Sweden. The vast majority are found within 24 hours. But statistics show that almost all the ones who aren't found are usually in the north.
Right now as of 2025 there is 38 people missing in the Norrland area who have been gone for a year or more.
Not a place for Ahmed to steal phones or act tough.

Like the other anon said. Norrland isn't exactly welcoming to outsiders.
In 215 they were fire bombing all the immigrant homes before the buses arrived, forcing them to move south.
Like 10+ of their locations got torched even after they became secret (someone in the local government was 100% telling people where they were)
