I'll re-iterate my point. PU pvp is never going to be competitive or skill based, there are too many variables. Ships all parties are flying is one, Number of participants is another, location, server performance, pc performance.. skill is pretty damn down on the list. There is a reason why the self-professed best pvp players usually play as swarms on PU. And I'm not a pve guy, I really love the idea of there being Piracy. But CIG has removed piracy from the game pretty much completely. Communication tools to parlay have been completely neglected for years - leaving the people who'd like to do that, and the people who'd like to hunt people who do that - with only one option. "Griefing", or killing helpless targets for no gain. PvP in PU is a joke and will always be a joke. Now people enjoying the game for what it is, RP or whatever exploration bullshit the original backers liked- these people are not the pve people who cry about griefing or pvp in general, nor are they the pvp guys who cry about the pve guys. Let these immersion guys enjoy the game, at least someone is.
