It can depend on who you have. For me it was more about the resources they gave me, as well as just having someone to listen to what I had to say.

For me I like to read, so when they had recommended reading for me to go through that was effective. Self help books and things like that have a lot of junk associated with it, but I find it's more about picking out what's useful for you. Not letting thoughts spiral out of control is big.
