I've noticed that many 'artists' in exhibitions, published authors, comic artists etc are not French. There are a ton of rich guys from south America or extremely privileged guys form Africa. They'll always be picked rather than a french man. The french person needs two last names otherwise. Ex: Julien Durand l, Pauline Grandjean are over, but you'll see many Eva Picot-Gaillado or Vianney Prevert-Lafayette.

I'm surprised there are so many south Americans shilled in France. They're, for sure, not the interesting and deserving ones from those countries.
