I think the "Fuck Russia" moment of Americans is just a rhetoric. The US pretends to hate Russia but they rarely do anything fatal to them. The US knows that Russia has thousands of nuclear missiles. And you know how much capital and technology the US provided to Russia in the early 20th century. Americans seems to allow Russia to do whatever it wants in the region just to keep the EU in check.
