Have you ever met good immigrants and minorities in your country? What backgrounds were they from?

Two of my best friends are non White, one is Guatemalan and the other is Black, my favorite professor in college was Nepali, and my ex gf (who I still love and miss) was Egyptian. Because of all 4, I’m only moderately and selectively racist instead of full blown chuddy.

Only met one hard working mexican. Otherwise the only decent migrants over met were from Europe

I've met 'good' immigrants at an individual level from almost everywhere, even India. Exceptions would be Somalis and Gypsies, both of which have never ever contributed to a single society.
The main problem is it's almost impossible to determine who will be a 'good' immigrant and who will be useless trash so it's easier just to greatly reduce or restrict immigration all together. No country on Earth benefits from infinity jeets flooding them.

talk to individual immigrants from syria and eritrea and morocco and you'll find lots of good hearted people

I've had Mexican friends

I work in a welding shop and the 2 best welders (besides me) are a Jamaican dude and a Mexican dude. And they’re bros.

My best friend was bosnian and a kurdish dude. Russian-germans are nice, polaks are okay, some romanians but not the gypsies. Croatians are great. All Euro migrants are more or less okay. South Americans are okay. East Asians are nice but i never had one of them in school.

All muslims are shit, no matter from. People from Middle East and Africa shouldnt be in Europe period.

My barber/hairdresser is Syrian and he's very nice and he introduced me to his daughter last time I was there. She even gave me her number.

Basically anyone from southeast Asia. They mostly work in the healthcare sector and attract virtually no attention because they don't do anything other than keep the NHS alive.

There are more Filipinos in the UK than Lithuanians, but you'd never know that based on how much press attention both groups get.

Yes but they were usually from rich families and didn't grow up in weird immigrant ghettos. The problem with immigration in the west is there's way too much of it. Once there's enough of them to basically form their own communities they become a destructive presence. This is what a lot of pro immigration leftwingers dont get when they go on about how they met nice migrants. People from other countries aren't inherently bad on an individual level, but once they get to the point where they're displacing the original population they'll create conditions similar to the ones they were all escaping in the first place.

In elementary school I was friends with an Ethiopian, in secondary school there was a nice Belgian and a Japanese, and now in uni I know a Filipino-American who's nice

I met Australians, Indians, Americans, Italians, Thais and Indonesians and they were all nice people.
Above all, it was wonderful that they respected the troublesome Japanese rules.
Also, there are many Chinese and Koreans, but for some reason I have no chance to meet them.

An old cuban maintenance guy for a real estate company comes into my workplace a lot, real cool dude. Grew up in cuba, learned some russian in school as a mandatory second language, has a wife and big family here now, dude's gotta be in his 70s. Once told me about a time someone here nearly ran him over with his truck and told him to go back to mexico. Said he was fine with nearly getting hit by a car, mistakes happen, but he tried the fight the guy for calling him mexican LOL
