I HATE working with Metal, its loud, hard and cold so uncomfy

it's super dirty too because you have to lubricate cutting tools in cutting oil and then all the metal fillings get attached to the oil and your hands, whereas wood is clean

I took an apprenticeship at a shipyard and they absolutely scammed me, the job was just a front to make grant money and it was the worst year of my life. Welding is fun tho.

i learned mechanical design and have my own business because i can just make some shit on freecad, send it to a chinese shop, then sell the parts they make for hundreds a piece
what took engineers 4 years of schooling and several more of internships and entry level jobs to get the experience for their positions i learned in my parent's basement inbetween anime videos over the course of a few months
