I sit in a small harbor and do basically nothing.
I have a small tv connected to a couple cameras, an old office chair and a board and a lockbox full of keys to the boats.
Like once a week someone asks me for help with docking or unloading a boat and I do that. In the winter I keep an eye on the ice and chat with the icebreaker that runs these waters over the radio.

Most pointless job to have ever existed but it pays the bills and I am lazy.

I was kind of looking what universities the AI engineers graduated from (Russia) and like 99% of them graduated from top tier unis like HSU, MSU, SPU, ITMO etc which are like the best in Russia and very difficult to get into thats why I kind of assumed that you need a prestigious degree to get in even. We don't do research in Poland it's almost non-existent (only the top 1 uni here offers it) which means I'm cooked

I already hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science but I only integrate the AI into the industry rather than working on the models, I wanted to go back to the university and get an applied math degree and perhaps get into research (not from top tier uni), but given how fast everything changes would you recommend me to actually go back or just focus on gaining exp in what i'm doing right now?
