For instance niggers are simply too stupid to even understand the concept yet alone ponder it endlessly. "lol i didn't exist before i existed so it's okay" is basically being one step above a nigger.

Fear of death is a sign of only average intelligence. It's being aware of your impermanence but unable to act upon it in a way that makes you fulfilled.
The wisest men do not fear death, their lives are driven, each second filled with purpose and intentionality, they're not like the masses waiting impatiently for life to begin, fearing that their time is running short. To the wise man, death is but the end of a chapter, his work will remain, imperceptibly, his mark gently swaying the course of history.

It matters very little things everything will be gone eventually. It is a folly of the foolish man to think that he will be remembered or that his actions will reverberate for all of eternity. What truly matters is the here and the now, what one can affect, what one can feel.
The natural world is senseless and brutal, hence it is up to you to make sense of it, however you can.

the problem is we don't know if we respawn in this universe/planet after death or if there are other universes with other life forms

I believe in reincarnation because I believe in energy conservation, big bang was an ultra dense concentration of energy that expanded. I don't buy the viewpoint that this energy popped out of nothing scientifically speaking
this energy had to come from somewhere but we don't know and it's annoying as fk. we're programmed instinctively to hate uncertainty

We aren't, your line goes on. This is why familial, unselfish mentality is essential to true happiness. If you're self obsessed then the idea of death is very painful. If you realize you are merely a link in a chain and your essence goes on it is liberating.

If we could have immortality, where your consciousness is taken out of your body so it can continue to live on unimpeded by natural physical aging......would you still do it? I thought about this recently too when my cat, who was my best friend too, died two weeks ago... Seeing his body without any movement and stiff made me realize how fucked up dying is, he simply just stopped existing and the most fucked up thing is how fine he was 2 days before passing away... Life is so fucked up and dying too... The worst part is knowing I'll be the only to remember him and when I die he'll basically be forgotten and all the memories we had together will be lost forever and nobody will care....

>Life's a joke so why cling to it
Just to clarify this is my own thought after seeing a lot of people and friends die over time. The first time you see something die is horrible but as with everything your emotions deaden with time. Especially as you get older. I never found any meaning beyond what the buddhists said to be honest, life is suffering and theres no point in believing there's a way out of the suffering. The only way out is to accept it and stop craving for meaning, thats how I got over it

yep agree with you, selfish people have the hardest time about death because their death negates their purpose in life. but death its inevitable making it an absurd position

although pure altruists are just the opposite of egoists like above, its utopia as humans have an instinctive drive to be rewarded for effort

I prefer "altruism with an underlying selfish motive" akin to the golden middle way of Greeks and Buddhists. don't get too aloof and neither too attached etc.

Only intelligent poster ITT. We absolutely reincarnate. There are parallel universes and other planets, and time is not linear in the way we understand. This lines up with theoretical physics and basic concepts like matter and energy not being able to be destroyed and being transferred other places. NDE experiences, past life regressions and the recollections of children all point to this as well. We are eternal beings and anything is possible. Even re-living this current life.
