Ever since we, the corpocucks, have been exposed to the idea of remote working, the idea of work from office seems to be inefficient anymore. Like think about the traffic, think about how much time that you have waste for the sole puprose of preparing yourself to go to work, think about how much you have spent in order to go to your workplace every single day. Plus, you dont generally work for 8 hours, you are probably working for 3 or 4 hours maximum, in total, while spending the rest of the day being idle and do nothing, while if you're doing work from home you can use that time for a nap, or doing chores, something more productive

I think I missed the boat with mine, a year ago people were getting allowed to do it full time if they requested it and I knew a few people from my team that did it. I held off asking because I wasn't sure if I wanted to stick around and was struggling since joining, now I'm doing perfectly well and would stay long term if I got fully remote, talked with manager about it a month ago and it turns out that the company no longer approves of it
