Happens in your country?
>be me
>have no car (yet) and just moved to unwalkable neighborhood
>decide to walk to the grocery store anyway
>18 minutes of dodging cars and sprinting across 6 lane, high speed roads
>finally make it and buy a bunch of canned food to last a week
>get hungry and about to prepare a meal
>realize I forgot to buy a can opener

Ask the neighbours for a can opener.

No one in my family has owned a car because we live within close distance to everything and when something is too far, we just walk. I once walked from Lince to Centro Comercial San Miguel, that is 2 hours and 50 minutes from where a I live.

The two on either side of my place are at work, but I might go down the street, however I don’t know those people.
If all else fails I’ll have to doordash a slop bowl, $ fees be damned

I can walk for hours if it’s a decent path, I mean I hike often, but that’s without the constant threat of being flattened by a giant truck
