I just experienced an hour of a german (tutorial country) complaining about "problems". It's all so tiresome.
I know they dislike how disinterested I am too since I always look like I dismiss their "problems" since I live in a shithole.

Germans are indeed the most annoying firsties. They will shit up the whole normie internet like r*ddit with crying about how big "housing crisis" they have and how "unaffordable" their houses are and when you ask them what it means it turns out they have to spend like barely 25% of their monthly income on rent and that's supposedly a disaster because their boomer parents would only spend 20%.

my theory is that everyone experiences the same level of mental anguish regardless of their material circumstances

the game of comparison doesn't work because your problems are emotionally equal to yours in their mind and secondly aren't theirs to care about

it also could be that mental problems (like not having a purpose in life, not living up to the expectations set by your parents and society) are more draining than all other kinds of problems to have

I am the lady. In Germany, I literally am that lady.
