You can't eat this slop everyday. No one does. South Indian food is more staple and palatable
Anonymous United States No.214814354 [Report]

I eat it more of as a treat, but either way you still have a lot of other variety with Indian food imo

Yes. there are many. but almost all of them are run by other south asians like Nepalis and Bengals. Indians work rather in IT sectors.

Chinese is better, but Indian is good too. Not my favorite, but good. The ranking goes Mexican > Chinese > Italian > the rest.

Chinese food.
Indian food gives indians themselves potbellies and a terrible smell.

Chinese food can be a little too exotic for my taste. With Japanese food it's almost always good.

Japanese food has a more subtle and delicate flavor palate for sure. Less "in your face" and more "wait for it"

Chinese food has options no matter what you prefer, it has savoury, spicy, tangy, mild, strong, high complexity, literal raw food, heavily meat based or even vegan approved. Its not preference just trying to be objective by adding few relevant parameters

Both cuisines offer a wide variety, from regional dishes of various ethnic groups to royal cuisine, but it's a shame that Indian cuisine has few beef and pork dishes.
Also, from a Japanese perspective, it's a shame that Chinese cuisine has few seafood dishes and cold dishes.

Not true, there are tons of indian dishes with simple preparation, and conversely there are chinese dishes that take days to prepare.
What is it with anons on this thread that seem to be unable to make apple to apple comparisons?

Even as an Indian I have to pick Chinese food. Indian food lacks variety, it is the same fry onions and tomatoes with spices and make a curry, no matter what region you go to. With Indian snacks, it's just deep fry some carbs with a lot of spices.
Chinese food on the other hand has different types of cooking and a large variety of ingredients which Indians have never heard of. While living in China, when I missed Indian food, I used to eat Xinjiang food which resembles North Indian dishes like pilaf, naan etc.
