Never I think, nor does anyone wish it. It would also kill fennoswedes as a group as they would assimilate into Sweden proper culture. There's already lots of talk as Bonnier bought almost every Finland-Swedish local newspaper. Some complain about useless news about Swedish royals etc. stuff that the heads at Bonnier push into every newspaper as a default. For now the contracts retain Fennoswedish editors in charge but IIRC it can change after 10 years. Probably they'll reduce the number of papers to 2 (currently like 6) and just push random slop onto them.

I, and my entire family have sprung up from this land as far back as the written records go (1500s) Maybe in the 1000s they came here or maybe a thousand years ago some finns started speaking swedish but it's not really relevant. In fact i would say the greatest threat to swedish speakers in Finland right now is sfp/rkp. For example; Närpes/Närpiö is already 20% foreigners all thanks to that party. Meanwhile Larsmo/Luoto where they aren't in charge (KD is) has near 0 immigrants.
City liberals vote for them for their liberal takes and rural Ostrobothnians vote for them because they are basically an agrarian party (and up until recently they had a lot of competition from Keskusta). Plenty of Swedish speakers don't vote for them and they are constantly criticized by other swedish speakers.
