Mine is from England via Normandy via Scandinavia. It means Famous Spear.

It's allemanic and means coppersmith.

My last name is a Germanic French one. Most people outside of Eastern France have no idea how to pronounce it and I've met people from South-West Germany who told me that my name must be English or Scandi or something.
