dumbest take ever, there is no "best" in taste.
the "Eh, not for me" response works as an answer to a "what is your favorite cuisine?" question, but a sorting problem such as "which cuisine is the best?" needs parameters as a measurement for such qualitative context.
relevant parameters to measure the quality of cuisine is not just popularity, as you can argue that chinese cuisine is only popular just because the sheer number of chinese in the world.
to measure the quality one's culture cuisine we need to set some parameters and among them are:
>variety of flavor (this one is extremely important, if your cuisine can satisfy people with all kind of taste, then you can say that your cuisine is good)
>variety of ingredients
>tradition/history
>creativity of methods
you would expect a country like india to check all the box above, but no, every main course taste the same, every appetizer taste the same, and every dessert taste the same, one thing you can brag about is your snacks, thats it.
