I want to have sex with anons' dolls in the ass
>>49473889It's that small?
I want some of the new things SmD has released -- the new Coffee skintone is nice, pear bodies are interesting, the male doll is back in stock -- but every time I go to that website I am bombarded by how much of a smug, insufferable bastard Danny is. Charging 98,000y for male dolls purely because he wants to punish the people who buy them after they complained when he promised to revamp them (and fix their engineering problems) only to cancel the project later is peak Danny behavior. I just cannot give this man money. Thank god for the secondhand market. SmD tends to be inflated there because his fans are just as prone to drinking the kool-aid, but sometimes you get someone reasonable.
We finally have a title again

well I've had my first actually failed shoot
I only managed a few lighting test shots before the cloud of gnats drove me away
so that's why Yuzu's eyes are crooked
anyways hope it shows what I was going for, maybe I'll return with bug spray before it gets too hot (already has)
>>49476004here's what the natural lighting looked like before I blasted it away
>>49476004Damn, I thought it was just me dealing with them out here, I didn't realize we're having a population bloom all over the place. The biting flies are insane this year, it's crazy. It was a good attempt, at least -- I see what you were going for, even if nature got in the way. Pretty much all you can do is grab bugspray (try to find one without DEET to be kind to the good bugs!) and try to drive the fuckers off.

>>49475635What I look like
>>49476184Cute picture. I think it is a nice touch how her uniform matches the ship.
>Did people look at me funny? For me, I treat a camera as a free pass to do weird things out in public. Posing dolls out in public? That's a bit abnormal. But if you're taking pictures of them, you're a photographer so its all ok. Maybe this is all stuff that I'm making up in my head, but I think most people are genuinely interested in photography so if they see you putting effort into taking pictures, they are looking out of interest and not judgement.
>>49478319I can say in my experience this is how it works. Weirdo with a toy in public? Kinda strange (or they assume your kid is somewhere nearby.) Add a camera into the mix and they automatically assume it's for some social media thing and usually, in my experience, if they interact at all, it's out of genuine curiosity and interest.
>>49478319>Maybe this is all stuff that I'm making up in my headNot to be mean but yes. You live in a nice place so your concern is getting weirdo looks. If you do not live in a nice place, having a camera won't stop a bunch of baked subhumans from coming up and kicking/smashing your stuff, your camera and also yourself for teh lulz because authorities are useless and punishments nonexistent especially for minors and the paperless.
So I just got an email from Volks about an order, it was just a dress, not doll or anything super substantial, and they wanted to confirm my shipping option of either DHL or EMS. I didn't see any difference and google didn't turn up anything. Does anybody know what they're on about, or got the same?
>>49475635Either that man is very small or that doll is very large.
It's probably either a DD or a MDD right?
>>49482758DHL are properly reporting things for tariff nonsense if that helps at all. I dunno if EMS are as well or not.
>>49483296It could be a Mozu Doll.
>>49482758DHL is a courier while EMS goes through postal service. The former is supposed to be faster, but the closer you live to the Pacific the more the difference shrinks.
>>49483330You'll get dinged at import regardless of how it enters the country. In my Canadian experience, DHL and other couriers tend to charge more for doing the paperwork than EMS -- which is handled by Canada Post. Is DHL still refusing shipments to the US?
>>49483296Probably an 80cm or 100cm. They're kind of rare but not unheard of.
>>49483502>look it up>rubber fuckdoll brand>doll in video has visible jointsgo back to the containment thread
>>49483296Large dolls do exist: https://www.parabox.jp/eng_new/110cm/
>>49483330>>49483567DHL and other private couriers typically bill the customer separately for any applicable taxes because they usually pay it beforehand (probably to enable the fast x-day shipping guarantees). If the customer refuses to pay up, they can potentially pursue the charges from the sender, so that's why a lot of places have dropped DHL as an option. EMS technically doesn't do this because it goes through the local postal service, and if a tariff/tax is applicable they'll literally hold your package hostage in customs
DHL themselves paused some shipments for a bit, but only for packages worth over $800 since that's the trigger point for formal import paperwork. They've since resumed shipments, but you really shouldn't ship anything more than $800 anyway since that triggers tariffs
>>49483296From the knee joints and height I think it's an Otohime.
>>49484513>>49483330OK, that makes more sense. I went with DHL since it was only $80 total value so it wouldn't hit tariff paperwork, but I'll keep that in mind should any email arrive. Thanks anons.
I'm going to Anime Expo this year in Los Angeles, and I was wondering if there's anything doll related going on at the con? Also, if anyone has recommendations for bags that I can carry/show my dolls with while also carrying a camera. I have one MDD and one Pure Neemo.
>>49484513I just got my order from volks and it was under 800, I had to pay taxes on it.

>>49485085I will also be at Anime Expo. I like the Volks tote a lot. It's got a cool zipper function where you can unzip the front part open so you're not fucking up your doll's hair trying to get her in the bag.

>>49485991Dolk is top tier. If the cost isn't an issue, then go for it.
>>49486003Thanks for the quick response anon. I don't mind biting the cost since I save up here and there. I think it's just if I'm interested in this hobby at all (liking the idea) compared to something I'm actually interested in if that makes sense.
I really do enjoy the photography/artistic elements towards the dolls I see here, as well as the fashion like
>>49481168and probably the social stigma of a 30 year old man playing with dolls. I look like
>>49475635btw.
>>49486011As a 31-year-old, there's no real social stigma even in public. As long as you have a camera people just assume it's for an internet thing.
Anyway, holy shit that Dolk girl is stunning. I knew a doll version of her would come out eventually, but I am surprised it's not a Dollfie Dream.
>>49485991If you like her sure, but she's not coming out til 2026. Fwiw she looks extremely good for a character doll, her faceup is beautiful and she looks just like the character, most are not so on model and slightly off. For me the only deterrent is the price.
If you want a cheaper generic entry you can get immediately, you could try one of the Dollfie Dream standard model dolls.
I found a second doll I think I want today. I always thought I was a one doll one waifu kind of guy. Is this how it starts? Is this how you guys end up with 8 of these things?
>>49486011I don't know the show but that doll is beautiful. However she is made of resin and not vinyl. Get informed before you purchase.
>>49487489>Is this how you guys end up with 8 of these things?Yes this is exactly how
wait
>silicone
so it's resin + silicone boobs and you can't choose all resin? that's kind of lame for a doll this expensive
>>49486011This is the body for that doll. It's made by Evantasy who is known for silicone boobs on resin dolls
https://www.legenddoll.net/goods-137517.html
Be aware that you're buying something incredibly overpriced so unless that character is your waifu I would avoid
>>49487793Resin isn't bad BTW. I actually prefer it to vinyl myself because it's much harder to stain and holds detail better. I don't think they are really that much more fragile either. Sure you're not going to break the vinyl parts, but I have had internal skeletons break. Those can be replaced though.
I wouldn't want to drop either doll type or chuck it across the room.
>>49487891>Resin isn't bad BTW.Sure, all I wanted to say is that it's resin and not vinyl so if anon goes in with the assumption of buying a vinyl doll he might be disappointed
the silicone part is alarming cause that cute black bikini will permanently stain her boobs in 2 seconds
I am surprised they have the gall to ask for 1200 dollars for this doll considering the same body is 400.
you're paying 800 dollars for a head with makeup after some seasonal anime chick

>>49487489>8Yes

>>49487845Yes, the chest is silicone:

>>49487489>Is this how you guys end up with 8 of these things?Yes, Its already too late for you
>>49488210>that bit when they show you how to wipe the titsNGGHHH
>>49485991>>49487845That doll looks like the best of both worlds. If you do end up getting it, please be sure to report back with photos and impressions of her.
>>49489391I'm not so sure. The company is new and there are no long term accounts on resin dolls with silicone busts. The body looks great and I like the thick thighs for once, unlike angelphilia leg tumors, but between the resin's yellowing and the silicone getting stained I suspect that the color will mismatch very quickly which isn't worth the gimmick IMO. I admit the booba are amazing even in L size but you get one stain and all the appeal is gone cause as far as I know silicone is even worse than vinyl.
>>49490571Yeah I th8nknit isneaiser to stain than vinyl. Soft booba is nice, I mean I get where they were coming from and it's nice to see someone trying something new to stand out. But I wouldn't say it's the best of both. The best thing about resin is that it's a lot harder to stain. You loose that with a silicone bust that can easily stain. On the other hand you can buy a resin busy for the doll, and if you order the default body you can choose.

>>49498523>>49485714They have been having these doll gatherings for quite some time. It's cool.
>>49499648I have cursory knowledge of both. Talk about what draws you to each hobby, anon, maybe people /here/ can help you decide. I would unironically say that depending on what you keep and how, dolls might be the cheaper hobby.
>>49499648maybe you can do a little of both!
>>49499808>>49500197Both appeal to me in the similar way: I get to look 'after' something, low emotional effort since I am burnt out from life, they are nice to look at in different ways (fishes because nature is cool, bjd because i enjoy pretty dresses/cute anime girls), and they have things for me to learn/progress. Only concern is that inevitable 'what if' i dont enjoy the progress more than the idea itself, which means I will have a left over hunk of crap I need to get rid of
>>49500258I would advise against any kind of pet if you're looking for something with "low emotional effort".
>>49500258Definitely get into dolls, aquariums are high effort, expensive as hell, and if you decide you're not enjoying it, you aren't stuck with live animals to rehome. If you want some good aquarium games, I have played most of them: Fish Game is probably the best accurate simulation at the moment, Aquarist is more about running a LFS (local fish store) but has good tank-building, My Koi is good if you want some digital creatures to care for that slowly grow over a timespan of actual months. Aquatics are probably the most high-maintenance pet you can bring into your home.
>>49499823This is very cool! Thanks for sharing here. I will be there for at least one of the meets.
Let's check the DDH-01 listings for fun, since there were no DDH-09 or DDH-06 listings I found interesting.
We're greeted with this insanity.
>>49500258>I get to look 'after' something, low emotional effortjust smoke weed you fucking incel jesus christ
>>49500258Animals of any kind are absolutely not low emotional effort, even fish. You don't have to constantly worry about waking up to feed them or their food schedule, taking care of them, making sure they don't get sick, taking care of them when they do get sick, catering to their preferences, hanging out with them, every single day. You can put your doll away for weeks and she will be fine. Maybe just a cleaning/dusting once a month and making sure she's stored properly at bare minimum, and switching out her clothes to avoid stains. The animal, however, will have preferences and its own personality and you will have to win it over and make sure it doesn't die. The doll will love you forever (at least, if you decide she loves you). Basically, dolls are what you make of them.
>>49502290There are a handful of doll artists whose work goes for insane prices. It's usually very well done, but at $4k for a single head that's paying more for name than the craftsmanship and design.
>>49501023cute! what did you use to focus so close
>>49500258NTA,
I agree that fishes need a lot of care besides low emotional effort. I don't think dolls and pet fishes are a good comparison. If you enjoy how dolls look, that is great but you would still need something to do with the dolls. Most people take up photography, sewing, kiss them on the train, and go to events with them. You would have to find that 'something' that you want to do with the dolls besides just staring at them all day. You'd get bored and be back at step one.
I made this bikini since it was sold out on booth. It took me all weekend with shopping for the materials and the sewing. I recommend planning out what you want to do with the doll and see if you can channel the effort and enjoy doing what it might be. At worse, you might be able to resell it at a loss.
>>49503317>>49503327>>49503335damn, you did a really good job there

>>49513115congrats!

Did the orange man tariff you?
>>49513340I don't pay the orange man tariff, just the usual maple covered taxes.
>>49514144nice! do you have a head for her already?
>>49514144And here she is on her new DDS body. Took basically forever to get the eyes into the head, might have to get some better stick tak for when I pick out her actual eyes. She's also a fair bit taller than I expected, about half a heads worth.
As for her name, I decided to keep the floral theme and go with Lilac/Lyla. They've been in full bloom for about the last week. She'll be the onee-chan figure for the twins.
>>49514529I love her expression so much anon, she's perfect. Congratulations! What color eyes are you thinking?
changed her outfit, but i have very little doll clothes to choose from, so the outfit doesn't make sense.
and i am poor at doll photography, depressing.
>>49516469We all start off somewhere, anon, the only way to improve is to keep taking photos, keep trying new outfit combinations, and see what works for you -- not just to develop your physical skills with the camera, but to develop a sense for the style of photography you want to do. This is a fine photo, and the outfit has a sense of style all its own, too -- mature, but with a feminine touch from the skirt. Be kind to yourself, you're doing fine.
>>49516469>the outfit doesn't make senseDoesn't matter, she's still cute!
>>49514797Something between a pale purple and a grey, perhaps a bit more towards the former.
>>49516469From the looks of it, the vest is a bit loose on her. I'd recommend getting some sewing clips as they're useful for pulling in larger pieces closer to a dolls form. You can get a pack of 50 (way more than you'd need) for less than 5 bucks.
>>49516633>>49516772alright, i feel a bit better, i appreciate it
>>49516795ah! what you say makes sense. i looked on my junk table and found a clip, at the least temporary. makes it look much better, thank you
>>49516469>>49516862Dolls are already a departure from reality and especially so with anime styled ones. So, if an outfit makes sense or not really doesn't matter so much as if the overall impression is what you want. Personally I think it's cute.
As for photography, just liek take photo

What's the setlist for a doll concert.
I would like to thank the anon who informed us about the Chimikko Arle announcement a few threads back, cuz the one I ordered managed to arrive. This being my first non-1/6 purchase, I'd like to know which accessory range this type is most compatible with, if I choose to get some in the future.
>>49533522MDD clothes should fit her, as they're similar dimensions with shorter legs. Long dresses and so on might be too long for her, though. 1/4-scale props should also be a good fit for her! She's tremendously cute anon, congratulations!
I bought my first DDS doll body and I had a DDH-27 before I bought the body, but after trying it on, it looks a bit too small/cutesy for the vibe I'm going for (a slightly more mature type of character in her 20s). What's a "better" fit? The DDH-06 or 09?
>>49533247DDH-09 is typically the go to head for older looking characters, see
>>49494813 and pic related. Though how the artist does the faceup, and mods, or what eyes/wigs you use can really change a girls look.
>>49534295Lovely

>>49534295Very pretty, I'll check out some 09s. Thank you!

>>49537494Very nice, I love her shoes! Cool chair, too.
First camping trip of the year, this time with the couple in tow.
>>49534231If you want, get a DDP body for the DDH-27, or an Obitsu 45-48 with a neck adaptor piece. That's probably the most mature/tall body you can get for that head without it looking off.
>>49543825Cute, but the scale of that MG42 is triggering my OCD

>>49549380Obligatory sun bathing shots. With enough f-stop I can make it look like its beside the water, and not fall down 15 meters of exposed reservoir embankment.
>>49537494What is this narrow chair? It is pretty good for dolls.

>>49549406how'd you get her hands like that, since she's an Obitsu body? put them on "sideways" or do the peg modification?
also have you considered giving your dolls movable eyes, I think this pic would really shine if she was looking at the camera
cute butt
>>49555198>how'd you get her hands like that, since she's an Obitsu body? put them on "sideways" or do the peg modification?NTA, but you can just rotate them
>>49555198said localized tone curve
>>49555256not like a DD's hands rotate
on classic Obitsu bodies there's a flat paddle the hand fits over, rotating them basically requires a heat gun / hair dryer (otherwise they just pivot side to side)
that's what I meant by "sideways"
>>49549689>>49550291>>49555041Glad you liked them. It felt good to end the trip with some shots that turned out good and slightly lewd as intended.
Have a bonus cell phone background. This one turned out ok despite being framed for landscape orientation.
>>49550291I have less than zero trust in dogs or their owners after one beelined a water dish I had out and ate in three bites.
>>49555198I kinda did forget that I can, and probably should, use a flash in full daylight. An external flash is something I do need to get sooner or later.
As for the hands, there's enough ply in the hands that you can twist the peg inside of it. Some hands are easier to change the direction of the tilt, even between similar moulds. Trimming either part should make it easier, but thats not something I've done yet. I'll probably replace it and a lot of other problematic parts with Obitsu's new offerings. The great GGR-ifying my AZO2s.
I havent thought about giving my girls movable eyes in a long time. Last time I looked it was either Volk's sponge piece or overly complicated and hard to get spring mounts.
And yes, it is very cute. Just wish it were a touch bigger.
>>49549298I like her outfit.
>>49548566Such is the way of wig shopping. It's one of the biggest reasons I either buy in-person at doll events or just make my own if I want something really specific.

>>49561172this one is really nice
I've always been a bit annoyed that Kirika didn't get her bow, or any accessory toys in her full set.
So I spent all day working on it!
I couldn't find a good 1/3 scale doll bow anywhere that matches her source material.
So I had to rip it from her game and prep the model for 3d printing.
The 3d printing part is easy. But, the gold carvings will be difficult so I was thinking of making decals or stickers custom printed. Or maybe make stencils to paint it, but I suck at painting so thats the worse case scenario.
So now, I'm still trying to figure out how to get the details onto a 3d printed model in a way that won't look like shit.
>>49565946Idk, a decent resolution resin printer is what you'll need.
Damn she's gorgeous
>>49565946Find a 3D printing service with good reviews that offers resin printing and they should be able to provide you the quality you need, at least in the print -- bonus if they'll clean it up for you too. No idea what that will cost, though.

spoilered becauseโฆ well you know
>>49555692re: hands, yeah at least the AP hands seem to be fairly roughly spun cast โ I mean sure it's probably not reasonable to expect cleaner hollow areas given how small they are, but it does explain the difference between two hands of the same mold
I've found just twisting the ones I have isn't sufficient, they tend to pop back in place
seen at least one person mod the paddles into pegs so they can rotate properly

>>49570169forgot to mention
I did use bug spray this time but it was only partially effective and it was so humid I sweated a lot of it off
spent an hour-ish there, did not get all the shots I wanted (butt)
so I will be doing a follow-up but not here, never doing a doll shoot here again, too miserable

>>49570182Amazing work anon, you really know how to make a shoot work even under adverse conditions. Mind if I ask about those lightboxes? How portable are they?
>>49570804they aren't softboxes, they're just umbrellas with an optional separate diffuser
I also have a pair of shoot-through umbrellas with separate reflectors (basically the opposite of what I used here)
these specific models are godox's 41" parabolics
at about $30 each they're expensive for umbrellas, cheaper than decent softboxes
I use them with a pair of TT600-2s paired to an Xpro
as for portabilityโ they're 30" long folded up, I had to choose between them + stands vs. a tripod
they do come with their own protective carrying cases with straps
hey guys i found a doll otaku and i was trying to figure out what attachments he is using for his MDDs

I got this old dollfie meiya thing. Have some concerns. First, the glued laces on the boots immediately came off, but thatโs an easy fix. More concerning is that the boots immediately started getting cracks in the leather as soon as I zipped them open to put them on, I donโt know how to avoid that or properly treat this. Also, one of the hands has gotten stuck in the wrist hole, wonโt go all the way in or come out. Iโd like not to break it, I was gonna try boiling some water and sticking it in there to see if that would help loosen it enough to get out, but I donโt know if this is even that type of plastic where thatโd be a good idea.

Water may help; the joints themselves are likely ABS. Are your hands vinyl? What scale is she, it's kinda hard to tell how tall she is from the photo.
>>49570156you could pass a container ship through that gap
>>49561176>>49559385>>49561135Great shots anons, dolls out and about are my favorite
>>49577438The scale is 1/6 I think? About 11 inches. Looking online it seems youโre right about it being ABS, and the hands are rubbery. I tried heating up the area with a hairdryer but that got me nowhere, so I resorted to drilling through the other end to make an opening and punching it out from that end and that worked fine, then I just sanded down the peg and its much better now. I think they made them slightly thicker than the normal hands to hold the sword at various angles, but I prefer being loose to breakage any day, and if it bugs me I can try some floor polish.
The figure is Chara Dollfie 001 Meiya, from Muv Luv. They seemingly only used the Chara Dollfie label for the three figures in the Muv Luv line for some reason. It was second hand, so included in the package were a robe and lingerie to recreate game scenes I would suppose.
Also, for some reason included was a sprue with some tapered donut shaped pieces. My guess was that it was a spacer for the neck since its pretty loose and the hair is very heavy, but that doesnโt work, so Iโve got no clue.
Recently got the new Alice figure by Apex Toys, so I took a picture of all my Alice figures and dolls.
>>49578690Super cute. I love that small doll book
>>49578793Thanks! I bought the book from a seller on Etsy called Little Things of Interest. They also have a website: littlethingsofinterest.com . The pages even have text and illustrations printed on them (some in color even)!
>>49577867Good job with the repair. Seems nice. Be careful about staining with the black clothes; if you are new to dolls the vinyl can suck up excess dye from the fabric.
>>49578690Agreed; super cute. Nice Alices

>>49589869That's the Cu-poche Friends Alice. Cu-poche was basically Kotobukiya's competitor to GSC's Nendoroids, with articulated arms and legs, that only lasted a few years. There was also a sub-line called Cu-poche Friends which were original characters with fabric clothes (basically Nendoroid Dolls before those existed).

Day ??? The treatments have been going well. I have persisted the entire time. The green shit just won't come off. No idea what it might be. I just hope I can finish this before its too late.
>>49592597really glad to hear you're making good progress anon, keep going! wishing you all the best.
>>49592597Nice work so far, I believe you'll get it
>>49592597good work anon, and good luck with whatโs left! it might even fade out enough on itโs own over time
>>49592597The green stain might be from the vinyl touching the metal on her choker buckle, Not sure if youโre comfortable doing this but dipping her chin in boiling water might help get the rest of the stain off. I had a heavily stained body that was taking forever with benzoyl stain treatment so after several days I just tossed all the vinyl part in boiling water and whatever treated stains were left magically vanished.
>>49592597Holy shit, you did a great job. Would you mind sharing exactly what you did?
Do you guys use gloves to handle your dolls? I've had a dollfie with custom faceup for about a year and a half and haven't used any gloves... I'm a bit worried about yellowing from skin oils long term, and considering starting to use them.
Also, is it safe to wipe off an MSC sealed faceup with a soft towel and water to remove any excess oils? Obviously I wouldn't do it frequently, but I'm just trying to prevent damage from skin oils... I might start using gloves from now on afterwards.
>>49594138Never used gloves. Never wiped off "excess oils." I usually wash my hands before handling them though.
>>49593620I don't want to mess up her default face up by boiling. But, I have been running the chin area under the facet with the hottest water. Then, I use the benzoyl peroxide.
>>49593655To remains stains, use benzoyl peroxide 10% cream on the area. Then, wrap the area with sandwich wrap to retain moisture and keep wet. Place under moderate heat for several days.
Repeat until stains are gone...
>>49577438probably not a container ship, but I've already established that a train fits
>>49578690alice!
>glovesyes, better safe than sorry
I'm not super autistic about it though, and I generally use cloth gloves for shoots when I'm spending 90% of the time fiddling with the camera/lights
as for faceups, just don't touch them lol
wiping even with water will abrade over time, you're basically gambling on how well the faceup was sealed
also never use alcohol directly, MSC is soluble in IPA (very helpful when you're doing your own faceup tho)
>>49594138>>49594963oops forgot a post link in there
have a custom faceup pic as related

>>49605978My head cost 375 and she's already traveled close to 10,000 road kilometers with me. These heads are more durable than people make them out to be.
>>49606026I'm saying if the head is several hundred dollars than these things are more works of art than playthings or companions at that point
>>49605978>>49606032I think mine was $700. Then another $150 for a wig. These are unique pieces of art. Made by an artist. But, I still play with mine though.
>>49606032I don't think either of those ideas are mutually exclusive, not to mention that I consider art to be art regardless of the price tag someone assigns to it.
>>49606032They can be both. Though I do feel more anxious handling my head that cost $500. The ones with stock faceups or faceups I did myself I'm a lot less precious with, but I love them just the same. Usually if you buy a head through auction, the faceup artist is willing to do maintenance on the head (often for a price) if the faceup ever gets damaged.
>>49606040you have a lot of dolls
>>49605978Yeah, they're expensive, hand-made works of art. Here's one of my Smart Dolls on the edge of a literal cliff.
Ive been working on dyeing different colors to see how they take on the soft vinyl and joint plastics. Rite dye synthetics, midnight blue, super pink, racing red, and peacock green colors. >>49644149Thanks! Akira would be easy enough to put together, but the head for Lily may take some doing.
Lily (left) is a DD-f3 2.0 body with a custom DDH-09 head from @Yamiyammy1113 on twitter and the wig is a chopped version of this cheap wig off of amazon (I should have found something nicer and was planning on it but this one kinda stuck) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078WQ8XL9
Akira (right) is a stock DDS Karin with the wig swapped out for a corkbrown W-140D wig from volks (which isn't of great quality, honestly; even the $12 amazon wig is better). Pretty simple. She recently scuffed her nose in a tragic photography accident which I'm not sure what to do about.
The clothes they are wearing are mostly Volks clothes. I think the jean shorts on Akira came from ACBJD, I don't remember for certain. And she's wearing a bra from Milai Koubou.
If I were to start again from scratch, I'd look for nicer wigs and I may change them out in the future, but they're good as they are right now IMO.

>22.5xwtf how
>>49645404Perhaps. I think it may need to be a bit more controlled and slightly more abrasive than that, perhaps an extremely fine ~2000 grit sandpaper done under the microscope
>>49645070Itโll take a couple months for the colors to lighten. Warmer colors like the red and orange seem to dye easier, the teal and green dye worked well too. Black wasnt very successful and the tape I used to block off part of the leg kinda worked. Gradient attempt on the one forelimb came out alright. Not sure what causes the streaking/dots, if it was leftover dye in my pot or the dye itself.
Transfers dont seem to be an issue if you leave the parts to sit for a week or so instead of putting them back on as soon as theyre dry. There is transfers on the knees, i had similar transfers on my android Yushina.
Looking forward to how the midnight blue, apricot orange and tropical teal lighten.
>>49647776Streaking/dots is usually caused by not using enough water to dissolve all of the dye evenly! Or so I have been told. Really good project so far, looking forward to the updates!
