Both appeal to me in the similar way: I get to look 'after' something, low emotional effort since I am burnt out from life, they are nice to look at in different ways (fishes because nature is cool, bjd because i enjoy pretty dresses/cute anime girls), and they have things for me to learn/progress. Only concern is that inevitable 'what if' i dont enjoy the progress more than the idea itself, which means I will have a left over hunk of crap I need to get rid of
