▶How to play?
Run anchor.exe (or Emuera, depending on the game), Japanese locale is advised so you don’t run into untranslated text.
If you wish to manually update, delete old files aside the sav and dat folders to avoid any bugs.

If you’d like to either edit or add your own portraits, the files are located within the ‘resources’ folder in webp format. You can use paint.net to edit them.

What's great with Expert and Devil Hunter is that the builds are simple.
It's also a problem of Heir Devil Hunter, you got 12 skill slots... but you'll lose the skills you put into them after NG+, so unless you got a lot of rare physical skillcards to waste...
A character with Brionac, Nova Sizer and Wiseman's Snap is enough to give a man a boner, even if not needed because of Dojikiri or Hilariously Overpowered Crystal Weapon.

I've never actually bothered diving into the mechanical intricacies of eraMegaten before. I just set everything to easy and brute force the game. I think I'll try learning seriously since I was planning to start a new run anyways.

Gunslinger Summoner is always a fun build.
You can also go Atma, it's basically funnier, the human form is strictly gunslinger, while the Atma form is purely demon, and the Mantra system while a bit big at first, also allow you great flexibility once one is mastered, and it carry on between cycles..

Summoner's bog-standard sword-and-gun type stuff where your versatility lies solely on item, weapon and bullet usage.
Most of the fun comes from the magic classes like Adept, Devil Shifter, Avatar Tuner and so on with the ability to actually cast magic and give yourself more unique builds centred around elements or gimmicks or what have you. You can also technically play as a demon through the Devil Hybrid, Nahobino and Devil Hunter and through demonization in the Red Light district, though for the former two you can't wear armour or equip weapons so you're a bit shit out of luck there and will have to rely on MAG enhancement and . Also the Nahobino class allows you to inherit skills and resistances/proficiencies from demons you unlock and gets to abuse a more nerfed version of the Magatsuhi meter. You can get ONE guy to crit instead of your entire party, for instance.

I'm midly surprised there isn't a Raidou class, maybe the remake will make that dream a reality.
Though looking at the skills in Era ande comparing them to III...

If we are considering devil hunter as a sort of "expert" version of half demon even that doesn't get everything the lesser version does. The core of expert style classes tends to be lack of skill choice balanced by more powerful skills, except summoner doesn't really get access to any skills(aside from passives of course, but that's not really meaningful). So even if you can't card in stuff of your choice it's still essentially a straight upgrade rather than a choice between power and versatility like other similar examples. A more sane expert summoner that is inline with the existing design philosophy would likely be something like it gets an upgraded version of summoner, gunslinger, OR successor but none of the others while still maintaining the passive only restrictions. You get to specialize in a single one of the core aspects of the class in exchange for only being able to access that aspect. Otherwise if it's meant to be raidou/dark summoner chan but MC just slap a raidou flavored expert into the normal expert pool.

That's the whole gameplay. You're mostly 'playing' it for the interactions, really. Especially if the character has dialogue (not all characters have dialogue). I think a bunch of them have endings but I don't think they're game/cycle ending endings?

All I really remember is that there are biological siblings (and maybe even (You)r biological mom?) that you can pick ('call in') as well, where as part of their intro one of your younger sisters is really frail and stuck in bed most of the time because she actually have a 'life energy deficiency' and was slowly dying that way, and it was suggested for (You) to 'transfer life energy' to her to make up for it, to which she already agreed to. She actually gets better over time as you transfer energy into her.

Or well, you could ignore getting any other character and only be with your Akuma Maid, instead of ignoring her and banging all the other girls (and guys?) instead.

I can't really say much about the active skills since those would all depend on the numbers, but those passives are problematic.
LMSurge+Pierce: 3 skills in one is already generally too powerful, but the main issue is Pierce. Pierce is mainly designed for characters locked to a single element (experts), or those incapable of using attack skills (Summoners),
Supremacy: While a skill with this exact effect already exists, it is too strong for this character when taking the rest of the kit into account. (Jefuty is the character with this skill and she's essentially locked into using Gunslinger stuff.)

As for the levelling up thing, gaining power is fine, but compound elemental skills should be used sparingly, as like the Pierce skill, they make it far too easy to deal with enemy resists.

Either way it's probably fine, null mind and null nerve already exist as skills and condensing skills for an expert style class isn't the biggest deal. For the compound skill, consider making it tied to whatever the last attack the character learns rather than all of them. Pierce is fine, assuming the class can't use skill cards there is no problem with it, however consider separating it from the surges. Alternatively it's probably fine if you give it one surge+pierce. Remember that experts usually get the 60% version of surges so giving it a 30%+pierce but in one slot instead is probably fine. Getting slinger 3+tool 3 might be a bit borderline and attack/defense mastery would depend on the levels. Might need a bit of tweaking but also might be fine depending on the specifics of the rest of the class. Also consider giving the character a break skill in addition to the pierce skill. It might seem redundant but it allows you to get around absorbs/reflects when needed. It's also good to toss in a few generic skills for lower level filler.

I'd probably consider using the way the half demon class calculates whether the resistance set is fine or not as the template(as in the points system, if you can set the resistances within the point limit whatever you choose is probably fine) but make it fixed similar to devil hunter. Perhaps as compensation for the extra talents and status resistance skill maybe not allow the player to mag enhance resistances, or maybe just one resistance at a time? Alternatively you can always take the easy route and just have it be a standard gear using class, maybe swap the normal human null light out for null dark?

Oh yeah, one more thing. Rather than pierce straight up another option is to have no pierce skill but make an attack skill that pierces(or breaks). Allows you to tweak the numbers to be fair without worrying about how having pierce on the rest of the kit would be balanced. Pierce is a double reference, one to Helmet Split one of the best skills in the game that any player want on their units, it ignore a % enemie's defense, up to 80. In fact Loki as it's strongest has precisely 80 The number can actually be higher thanks to another skill, the other is when they can just bitch slap things that would have been a problem to them before when going into the bad route.

Leon/Loki type gaining Attack/Defense Mastery is because they are about fighting. Where Theo is more on the devious side with a gun and actively use things in the plot. I do agree both Gunslinger 3 and Tool Mastery 3 may be too much.
The elements are obvious. Leon and Loki start as two-handed Fire unit and evolve into a Dark unit, where Theo start as a ranged Lighning unit, but become a Light unit.

The funny thing is that demons or half-demons in Venus Blood doesn't seem to have a weakness to Light by plot. Loki is also Half-Demon, Half-Goddess and gameplay wise elements are only used for

Unless whoever did coded in the modifiers for Concert back in the day had a thing for giantess content. The ones that you can get. you want Weapon, Armor, and Consumables, that mean 7 endings. You should try the SMT1, Devil Summoner, Devil Survivor 2, DDS2, Good luck you'll need it, Raidou Kuzunoha I hope you have a good MTL tool for the Kushinada route, the dark route too but it doesn't have an ending, 20XX route, Night Tale I suggest the "failed" ending so it'll be taken care off, SMTIf, you NEED to have a Fallen Yumi, Tamaki and Reiko. Then unless I miss something, you can focus on the Extra Scenarios who generally don't have limitations.

The skills seem fine at first glance. So long as the gauge for Gula Satanas doesn't fill up at the speed of light (e.g.: Mélusine's NP gauge) it should be fine-ish, and you limited yourself to 3 elements tops.
You should probably start with 1 element for the level-dependent skills if they're going to be available early on.
If you want to do multiple status effects in one skill, use a similar implementation to how God's Malice does it; that should allow for different rates for OHKO and Flame/Shock.

And I don't have much else to say about the class until you decide on what subroles it has, the concrete values for skill properties, etc. since those could drastically change how it plays.

If you're making a stand-alone class, you have to bump up the number in @MASTER_MAJORING_NUM, add it to @GET_MASTER_MAJORING and @SET_MASTER_MAJORING, and make @SET_MASTER_MAJORING_VB to be able to choose between the 2 variants at character creation. All of this in SET_MASTER_MAJORING.ERB.

If you're making an Adept/Expert class, the job's easier, since you don't need to make a new role at all. Go into SET_MASTER_CLASS.ERB (Adept) or SET_MASTER_TECHNIC.ERB and add a CASE to the class functions there. If you get any error messages, you'll have to make corrections according to what it tells you.

Also, this is why I told you making an Adept/Expert subclass is less of a hassle.
