Kinda started struggling with lvl 15 dungeons, i am using totem so my accuracy probably sucks, my weapon should be fine ( i have Gods scythe and my support has Wind god bow).

I have 2 party members (one healer that i am hosting and black angel mount) and 3 slots for party members.
I learned how to track my speed the hard way. So my problem currently is, i miss against bosses often and even when i hit them it doesnt deal a lot of damage, since i am using dual welding i assume that Host+riding+dual accuracy penalties stack and thats why i have such low accuracy. Was wondering if i should go train on dummies for a bit before venturing in lvl14+ dungeons (because it was smooth sailing until this point)

Don't bother dual wielding until you have weapons with very high number on frustration/chase skill. Totem is fine but you have to train your riding/host skill a bit

Not very, you dump the items in a "for sale" container and then get a text message when an NPC buys something.
Being able to build your own inn/bar/blacksmith/onsen/whatever and have NPCs come to visit/browse/buy/place orders/etc would be cool, especially if it's linked to a supply/demand + reputation system. But probably too far off from what noa envisions Elin to be. At least at the moment. Might be a good fit for one block mode though.

>No, this is not a glitch, but an unfortunate result of having to create a new save file for this system. Because the AI data is not tied directly to specific pets (but rather ID slots), the information has to be wiped when a pet is removed from your party to prevent exploits. Otherwise, you could teach one pet multiple actions/spells, leave that pet at the doujo, and then pick up another pet that would keep the taught actions and spells of the original. There is no way to work around this without modifying the already existing files for Elona's save, which I'm not willing to do. There are a few things I could do to mitigate it (such as a temporary cache for a few npcs), but in the end, it's more trouble than it's worth. Simply be aware that if you do something that causes your pet to be removed from your ally list (doujou, abandon ranch), then you will lose all of their progress as far as taught spells and abilities are concerned.

Guess I had to find out the fucking hard way. Don't leave any pets with learned skills and abilities in either the dojo nor the ranch. I'm looking at Elosnack but I can't find out a way to save edit the lost spells back onto my pets either.
This wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't a lame-ass bullshit 15 pet/prisoner/ranch breeder hard limit the game forces on you. I have over 200 fucking charisma I deserve to be able to keep 40 characters in reserve. Fucking bullshit.

A bit of theorycraft. I just tried Nanasu with her touch of sleep.
She instantly puts anything that tries to attack her in melee to sleep for you to execute it with one guaranteed crit, constantly gaining eye of mind exp, which is otherwise a pain in the ass to train.
Even if it somehow survives, it gets a talisman blast to the face and probably a second sleep.
So, touch of sleep is great. And Farris' lullaby too.
And here we have Undine, who has both. With a rare race, so in theory she can be turned into a healer or anything else you need.
The only problem is her base speed is 60, but if you're going to wear her as a hat all the time, that doesn't matter. Which is what you logically should do, since she's a mermaid and shouldn't be walking on land normally.
Lulwy's faith bonus and speed rings are static anyway, so 40 speed difference aren't that important if you're not going to ride her.
She also has an innate 20 nerve resist, so you can convert her to Kizuami for holy+nether resists and speed.
The only slots she's missing are waist and legs. You could even go full degenerate and give her a fox tail and hooves, If you want.
In theory, it makes a good build. The mermaid you're carrying constantly sings, lulling everyone to sleep. If enemies get too close, she stops them with a touch of sleep. All you have to do is kill them with crits.
As for the class, you could choose something with a mind domain to maximize sleep and confusion, or just go full sword sage for damage. And the mermaid could learn mind arrow and some powerful healing spell.

How do you train your story characters?
Anyone you don't take with you falls far behind in level. My Farris is like usually a terminator simply from being an early-game healer, and Loytel remains a level 1 peasant with a gun.
You can gear them up with sharing equipment, but nothing beats stats. Stats are gained through food, and residents at the base very rarely eat. And if they're already too weak, taking them to high-level nefias is like sacrificing them to Yakasha with an extra step.

I collected the three class minotaurs - mage, boxer and warrior plus Prince Ungabunga for a full cow team. Unfortunately, besides the prince, I wasn't too impressed by their default performance.

I've tried changing my extra domain to Cut only and that didn't seem to do anything to increase their frequency of appearance.

iirc, there are two versions of the story.
First one is told by Issizzle (it's a myth that has been retold many times), and then Kettle himself says that he simply saw her in the forest and as soon as she looked at him, he went blind and would never be able to see her again (but maybe he's lying or not telling the whole truth).

How do i play a wizard?
I'm wielding a sword and shield, my hotbar has a blessed boomerang on it. And when i need to cast spells, i pick them from the list.
I put them on my hotbar and enabled them for auto combat but it consumes so many charges its very wasteful, so i turned spells off for auto combat.

You're not going to be able to sustain auto combat until you get a good supply of books and enough power that they're killing enemies quickly. Early on you have to pick and choose which means only using magic on enemies with very high DV(such as fairies and bats), PV(such as crabs) or dangerous shit which will murder you(basically anything which visibly has a weapon or anything that explodes.) In the early game you have to be pretty conservative with your spells, by mid game you can auto combat quite a bit so long as you're manually rotating your spell options(you can set it so auto combat only uses what's available on your bar) and by late game you should be able to generate more spell stock than you can use.

This is pretty much a guaranteed recipe.
All you need is a writing tool (iirc Farris sells the recipe) and literacy skill (which you'll quickly level up just by being a mage).
The only tricky part is the mana crystal, which can drop from golems or from walls in 50+ Nefias . But you'll be given one at some point during a story quest.
But actually, you don't need to rush it.
After coffee was added, sleep became completely optional. You can just drink coffee, or coffee with stamina regen, or eat anti-sleep food, and restore more stamina than you need with shrines if you're actively doing Nefias.

If you pop by the puppy cave whenever it respawns you'll quickly have a large amount of basic spells. That should tide you over until you get better sources.
Depending on spell and vendor discounts it can even be cheaper to buy wands than the book itself in some cases.

Fox Elona/10, hope we get more generation patterns for monster spawns and nefia environments/layouts.
Like instead of getting a boss at the bottom you get a swarm nest you have to survive against. And more interesting environment effects like river rapids in forest/cave nefia that force move you kinda like how monsters can jump in minecarts.

Townbuilding sucks though, and it's made worse by getting 2 pre-selected properties forced on the player. Building out 1 town takes enough effort already I cant be bothered with the rest so I just have soulless productivity camps. It's the same issue as fallout 4, build your own damn houses

A free play mode where you start with just a tent or a land deed and the ability to choose your first town location would be fun.

This is the worst part of an otherwise great game.
Imo:
1. Linked storage chests, so you don't have to transport your warehouse between bases. Rebuilding a workshop every time is bad enough. (Maybe this is already fixed by portals, but I've never had enough patience to develop two bases to that level.)
2. Selling/removing settlements.
3. An alternative "Not my problem" development path for Vernis, with Loytel executing his plan, and you just paying for it and making some profit in the process. A long series of quests to collect resources and money instead of building. (But Noa will never bother adding that.)

Keep in mind that Elin is a very long game. It can be overwhelming at the start. You need to travel to learn skills, you need to make money and pay taxes, you need to build Meadow and Vernis, and there is the story. For all that time NPCs just living in whatever shithole you built, waiting for you to do more while slowly drowning in garbage.
Once you've solved most of the problems, building sucks a lot less.

I'd prefer this over slapping down some random blueprints and calling it Vernis, if necessary for balance then Loytel could just give the player a plot to build/farm on and then you can see the town build up around you.

Most race and class pars feel to similar to me. I also feel it's to slow to get out of the early game poverty. Maybe I just don't know what to do but I can never seem to get the money to invest in towns/stores to get better gear for dungeons (especially without being at my farm for weeks.) Otherwise I love it despite none of my characters getting far.
