Like this if you have a super safety. Buy a jig from Deez Nuts Tactical and bob the starboard side of the trigger at a 45 degree angle, then round the port side of the trigger along the jig profile.

I'm the anon who modified the LaRue to work with a super safety; I'll keep one LaRue unmodified to try with the Atrius, and if it requires any milling I bet I can figure it out. Might be a minute though, and IMO depending on what you want to put the selector on the trigger might not matter all that much. I personally love Geissele and LaRue but the only gun that really needs a proper Gucci trigger is my Mk12 that I use for competition. The rest can be ALG-tier and be fine if you are shooting 800+ rpm.

Is that the FN? I have one FN lower and it is low shelf, so it works unmodified. Not to be condescending but do you know how to check receiver shelf height? If so just make sure you have a low shelf receiver and the Deez Nuts SS will drop in. If it is high shelf you will need to mill the lower. Separate from that, definitely get the centering blocks from Deez Nuts. Literally one dollar each and they are a big reliability enhancement.

Increased cadence means higher heat, which can increase cycling velocity and cause feed issues. That's why heavier buffers are used. Basically just tune your rifle and troubleshoot from there.
The AR15 market is great for parts interchangeability but tolerances on the commercial market aren't strictly enforced so there's variations in cycling that unfortunately we just take each AR on an individual basis. Not as much an issue with ACTUAL milspec parts and top tier manufacturers (who are mostly mil suppliers).

how does a super safety work? when you shoot the safety turns on and resets the trigger. then when the bolt returns to battery it turns the safety off so you can pull the trigger again. the only things that could be causing hammer follow would be if the disconnector is broken and not catching the hammer, or if the super safety timing is wrong and letting off too early. if it works in semi auto mode then you know that the disconnector isn't broken, so it must be a problem with the super safety. trying to tune the cyclic rate is pointless because by design the super safety is only supposed to let you shoot when the bolt is fully in battery.

Yea pretty much. The movement of the bolt cycling resets the trigger to the forward position. This happens in a fraction of a second. Your monkey brain does not have time to realize this so your rearward pressure still being applied to the trigger presses it again once it resets. It is not full auto fire because only one round is fired per action of the trigger, which is the definition of full auto(legally speaking). The principle is similar to one of those spring loaded bump stocks in that you take advantage of muscular tension(forget the word for it) combined with mechanical fuckery to pull a trigger more rapidly than you would consciously be able to.

OK IMO it is not well drafted (only 7 claims when you get 20 for the same price) and overbroad. The first patent, you will notice, is specific to a torsion spring system and uses a 20 claim body with a dependent claim structure.

I think that if anything, the second one ironically gets hung up on a few details, which are the spring bias (they mean the detent) and the two position nature of the mechanism they describe. These are both distinct in the Hoffman.

tl;dr I think that the Hoffman is way more complicated in operation than their extremely basic patent could claim to technically precede, based on reading just this application. I believe it is non infringing.
