If that was the case it would had ended by now. Moscow is glad to gut the rest of their empire for the sake of their egos.

It's not like their public is exactly enthusiastic about this either.
But as long as it doesn't mess with their lives too much, they'll cheer for their government doing whatever the government does, or at least keep their mouths shut if they don't agree. Maybe some of them even believe it. Doesn't really matter. It's how it always was, how you avoid trouble in a system like this. Make too much noise, and you'll lose your job and strange people will start knocking your door at night.
Before this shitshow started, they'd silence difficult people through harassment like that, or making up charges like CP or "foreign agent" activities. When shit really hit the fan back in 2022, they wrote a new law that made questioning the government or the military's conduct of the operation punishable by up to 15 years in prison camp.
Can you blame them for just staying quiet and waiting to see whether the monke will eventually fly out the window?

We really have no idea what's going to happen after Putin, especially if the war's still going on when it happens. It's the biggest, scariest question mark of the whole situation.

They don't exactly support it, but they are so uninterested in politics that they don't care to try and stop it. The entirety of eastern europe is like that where everyone just focuses on themselves that they just don't have the care/need/energy to think about national or international politics.

More like they've been bred like cattle over generations to be "apolitical" and accept the boot
Pretty much anyone with courage or initiative has fled the coop.

Civil war. There's not only no clear successor, even if there was one of the capos is going to say "well what if can be the Don instead". It's probably going to look very similar to the Mexican civil war at the end of the Porfiriato.

They can be broken down and carried by hand, they are a great low cost choice for Russia:

>Conscripts carry it to the staging area
>Conscripts distract drones while it fires then it gets towed away to the second line by the barrier troops ATV/Loaf
>Fire it at the staging area if the conscripts chicken out
>Repeat
