I've got a big regular Huion and a totally-not-Cintiq Huion. The regular tablet is great, just works on GNU/Linux, works with as much sensitivity as I want it to, can't endorse it enough. The Legally Distinct Cintiq shit the bed after owning it for a few months, but I accidentally bought with a mini HDMI umbilical rather than the new ones with usb-c.
My parents bought my some XP-Pen something or other 25 years ago for my birthday and that thing still holds up too, I just stopped using it because it's 4:3 and works weird with modern aspect ratios.

Well duh. The Mother series is all about coming of age. Those games are also products of their time.

I think it's childish to say "mature = better" Some things are meant to just be fun.
