Im using a strike industries mini buffer because I have a shorter buffer tube for the brace. I'll be switching to a normal 5 position buffer tube, and will look at the kak mini buffers when the paperwork clears.

And it's a Ballistic advantage 8.3" barrel. I know they make some not so great stuff, but this one has really good specs. It was on sale for $119 when I got it, so I figured no biggie if it blows out eventually. If it does, I'll go for a Criterion Core 8.5".

Hey frens, I'm the retard that posted about putting a Talon M905 on my SuperSafe(TM) AR Pistol. So after a few months of shooting, I cannot recommend the setup:

And what broke me: after a few mag dumps, I pushed the selector to safe and it caused it to fire.

-A "Worst Rifle" award will also be given to the build that scores the fewest points

Final judging and results will be revealed on July 4th!

the geissele SMR barrel nut is a copy of the HK416 design, they made the barrel nut slightly longer and a smaller diameter and added a second groove for patent reasons.

The Radian design is basically a geissele but with four bolts securing it top to bottom.

The Aero Mod4 is basically the geissele SMR but with the wishbone nut above the barrel nut instead of below it

The Geissele Mk17/URGI is basically the HK416 but with another screw that does absolutely nothing

Its a knights 25714 but good luck finding one. You'll also need a barrel profiled from a blank to be able to mount the heat guard. That apparently seems to be easier than sourcing the correct barrel from what I've seen. Then you just need a colt 6940 series upper, a bridgeport, and patience.
