Mine is a 16”, it’s also 1:9. The trigger is really a lot better than I was expecting. It’s not good but it’s not significantly worse than a mil spec AR trigger, the reset is noticeably longer though. I’ll probably wind up putting the QD adapter for the sling in the farthest forward rail slot.
One thing I don’t think is talked about enough is how balanced it feels compared to an AR. It feels like it could be comfortably aimed and fired with one hand.

LMT makes the best piston parts currently, but anons are scared of piston and they're mad about the monolithic uppers. LMT uppers (both monolithic and stripped) are good, their AR-10 parts are good (best AR-10 uppers, but monolithic), their E-BCGs are good, and their receiver tubes (only the grey) and SOPMOD stocks are good. Avoid their lowers. If you get a LMT upper, send a good barrel off to be converted. Solves the barrel issue.

i would say it's a buy once cry once upper. the lower doesn't really matter as long as the tolerances are in spec and the lower parts kit, buffer, buffer spring are true mil spec (i hate nitride small parts, and some lower parts kits have mim components). personally i would rather have the colt monolithic upper shown earlier in the thread. midway had them for around $1100 a few months ago.
