Is every single one of these 'random' threads about the dam just a falseflag?
Just an excuse for the chink posters to come in after the OP and crow about americans being warmongers and how /k/ is stupid for thinking they can blow up the dam.

I think it's a US gov psyop to start convincing people that war with China will be easy.
>lol just bomb the dam
>no way will it be a 10 year war that costs millions of lives and trillions of dollars

>Targeting civilian infrastructure is a war crie

I have my doubts that the CCP will avoid doing the same, before the Taiwanese have reason to strike.

We terror bombed Japan into submission by killing as many of their civilians as possible, including using nukes. You can absolutely get away with anything as long as you win.

The trick is to destroy several upriver smaller dams, so the resulting wave would be too large for TGD's sluice gates to quickly disperse.

Fine, bitch. The USA terror bombed them into submission and faced precisely no repercussions. Happy now? You got to grandstand a little instead of refuting my point.

Americans historically have a lot to be proud of, so they personally identify with their countrys achievements. I do empathize that your brown shithole makes you ashamed and not want to be associated with it, but please understand that this is not the case for every country.

Only relevant if you lose. Had you ever heard of the Holodomor before 2022? Most people hadn't, because the winners suppressed it. What about unit 731, the rape of nanking or bataan death marches? Almost unheard of until the last 20 years, as prior to that we had decided as victors that it was more immediately useful to us if Japans crimes were forgotten (figuring that an alienated Japan could swing commie), and so it was. How about the concentration camps run during the Chechen wars? Russia ultimately won, and they decided nobody ought to give a shit, so nobody did. Its a tired platitude that history is written by the victors, but it seems like while everyone quotes it, nobody actually internalizes the implications of it; or maybe they feel for some reason that it doesnt apply in modernity.

dams are not solid objects, they are full of internal access tunnels. all you need is to get one of those little backpack nukes inside it and blamo, the entire thing crumbles.

You would use a UUV (mini sub) with a 2k lb directional warhead to swim up to it and BOOOOOMMMMMM! It would take about a year to sneak in components to build said UUV, then recruit locals to help with your mission.

>Also: Targeting civilian infrastructure is a war crime.

Depends on the infrastructure. Civilian dwellings and protected buildings like hospitals and certain religious sites? Illegal to attack in the overwhelming majority of circumstances. Infrastructure that can be used for military purposes such as hydro-electric dams? Completely legal to attack.

Not even a nuke. One 2k lb charge will take it down. Just watch the documentaries made during its construction by some Aussies about the workers building on loose, soft foundations, subpar concrete, all kinds of corners cut, etc. Which is why when China had the major floods that were threatening to push the 3GD over, they had to open the gates and flood countless villages, towns, and all their farm lands. Oh, and they didn't give those people down stream any warning that they were opening the gates and flooding their homes. KEK.

This is all redundant though because if the Three Gorges is going to be blown up, it's most likely gonna be some Uyghurs with a few bags of fertilizer and a Ryder rental truck who do it.
