13.7" originally only exists to pin & weld a noveske KX-3 muzzle device. HOWEVER, 13.9/13.7 is extremely based if not p&w, short as you want to go without losing too much velocity, and shortest you want to go with mid length gas while keeping acceptable dwell times. II get that some guys have had RMA's, but I have had a shitload of RMA's with DD and BCM, so I see no difference. I got a three pack of lowers years ago for $199.99 from PSA, and all my AR builds use them. I'm not into all their products, but the Jakl line looks super cool, and I hear the Sabre line of rifles are pretty top notch.

I don't care too much, since I have already paid for my tax stamps, but it's awesome to see what they are trying to accomplish for gun owners.

Thanks to PSA the AR-15 has gone from relatively niche rifle to literally the most owned in America. It's not all on them but they set the bottom of the market so low that it set a floor that other companies have to compete against. That's helped foster the current Golden Age of ARs were in now.
Is their premium stuff actually good? I've only ever used their poorfag shit and it's all been as good as I'd expect cheap shit to be.
I probably won't buy one of their AKs though and unless they make something really unique (like the Bizon unironically) it's unlikely I'd suggest them either.

Not the anon that posted the video link, but my personal experience (And again, this is only me) I have only ever had outstanding experiences with PSA. From Ammo to gun parts. Their AAC ammo always shoots reliably with no jams in my experience (I have gone through probably 10K rounds of AAC 556, and around 3K rounds of AAC 300 BLK).
All my lowers are PSA (Just like most people lmao) because 7075 aluminum is 7075 aluminum. The stamp doesn't matter to me, plus they have those "Gov use only" carbine lowers. My PSA Sabre 18 Mod S upper shoots reliably, accurately, and has had no issues that were not user error. Customer support has always been great as well, but I still like to shit on people for being "poors" as we all do, just as a joke lol.
I like pretty much all brands equally, but PSA holds a special place in my heart due to my first rifle being a rando 16" PSA special back in the day.
Also, I got to shoot my buddy's jakl, and I nearly creamed my pantaloons if I may be honest. I'm gonna get one soon, but an MP5/AP5 is first on my list.

Honest to God, you are better off going with a 1-6x or a 1-8x. Memes aside, most anyone can shoot out to 250 yards with irons, and hit a man sized target reliably. A good 1-6x will help you reach out to 800 yards and touch someone. That depends on barrel length, but with a DMR, I am assuming you are using an 18" - 24" barrel. Plus in my opinion, lower magnification makes your rifle more usable. High mag just makes things too shaky to be usable unless you have surgeon hands.

Wildly conflicting answers... Hmmm... I will try out an LPVO and see if I can reliably hit out past 500 yards with 6x. (My local range goes to 550 yards. I shoot at home too, but that's like a 350 yard length without firing towards any houses or farms.)

If I feel like I need to go higher mag, then I will probably just save up more and get a nice MPVO, or a fancy snoiper optic. At least with an LPVO I can always put it on another gun. If i don't fancy it on my longest gun.
