For actual content suggestions, I could ramble on forever. The gist is this:
1. Start with core themes – /k/lit, media, fun guns, important topics from the generals. These are the main focus of the board and it's very easy to write stuff for them.
2. ONE meta/guide page for everything like: page editing, using the archives, image and webm editing, etc.
3. ONE list-of-lists page as an entrypoint for nearly everything. This page includes things like the names of every general.
4. ONE media host for all images, videos, and documents. This makes it vastly more feasible to perform full HQ backups of the wiki.
5. ONE "big" page for most topics. That is, immediately set up the convention of dedicated portal (hub) pages for autists with personal interests to sprawl as much as they want.
That last point means giving topics like modern conflicts, niche interests, and curation of a whole category of weapon their own main page, to provide focus for the people interested in those things. This is *in contrast to* worrying about Categories.
So instead of setting up a million Categories for SMGs or Revolvers or North Korea
>>63997840 on a new wiki that only has 15 pages so far and 5 of them are individual guns, you create an SMG page and a Revolver page and a North Korea page. Let them sprawl, in one place, until they can't anymore.
Do this preemptively for the topics we have single-issue autists for. Stub the page for them by importing highlights of their posts from the archives. Simple as. This method is how you maximize effort from contentposters and minimize grief for them. Premature optimization is the root of all evil. Keep it simple.
