Are we unironically in a golden age of guns, minus ammo?

I know we're bored of ARs and Glock clones, but it's almost delightful in that you can get a reliable handgun for $250-$300 and a reliable AR for $400-$600 given how everything else has risen in price.

Factory, already rma'd once for improper lockup causing light strikes/overpressure. Wasn't able to shoot it most of the summer which is why I bought it. Sent another rma request and they're ghosting me. Fuck em.

The bright side is I have the tritium sights and guide rod for my g19. I wanted to love this thing but it was so disappointing, I rage bought a g19.3 right after this range session cause it choked once every few mags and the Glock has only fucked up once out of a 1000rd case of aluminimum blazer

They're designed for one purpose, form following function.
Boring, bland, basic, utilitarian, and reliable as fuck.
I love my CZ, I love my 1911, I love my S&W and my Dan Wesson, etc., but I carry my G19 because it's going to 100% go bang, and if it gets used in self defense and relegated to some police lockup for a decade or whatever, I shrug, go to a store, and buy another Glock.
