You can file the bottom of the follower down to make it fit 2 extra rounds so it has the same capacity as the Glock, but understand they do that for a reason and it's one reason why Glocks fail so much. You're not supposed to stuff the mags to absolute capacity, there's supposed to be ample room for spring compression so based HK made it not possible to overstuff them, shit tier Glonk made them wrong so they can advertise higher capacity.

These anons don't know shit. That's the problem. They are theortical faggots who can't shoot. All their gun theory comes from endlessly reading online. And 90% of what they read is boomers trying to justify their purchase and they take that as gospel.

I switched from a USPC9 to a Glock 19, and though my USPC9 is definitely ultra reliable and better made, I don't feel the Glock has any reliability problem either. But the glock has...

>longer sight radius
>lighter weight
>easier to detail strip and clean which is a god send to high round count shooters or people who go outdoors with their guns
>better stock trigger than a USP/P2000
>higher capacity
>better grip (yes glock grip angle is conducive to recoil control which is why pro shooters to this day are winning with Glocks but not a single p2000, p30, or usp in sight)
>way more aftermarket if there's something I want specific to me (such as holsters)

And I'd much rather take my Stock Gen 3 glock trigger over my USPc9 with the match trigger installed. It's much more consistent .

>INB4 learn to shoot double action

I competed with a beretta and CZ for years. I dont mind DA/SA, it just sucks balls on a HK.
Anonymous No.64193650
>>64193403
>Longer sight radius
I don't currently own a 19 or equivalent glonk so I can't do a side-by-side comparison. Can't imagine it's a significant difference though.
>Easier to detail strip
Agree 100%. Glocks are by far the easiest handguns in the world to work on.
However I have personally never needed to do anything but a basic field strip on a handgun unless I was replacing parts.
>Lighter weight
Yes
Though the importance of carry gun weight is a personal preference thing. I don't think the average person is going to notice the added 1.25 ounces.
>Better trigger
Here i'm just going to say that while I own handguns with better triggers I have never felt inhibited by any of the HK triggers i've used with the exception of the P8A1 which has the world's heaviest hammer spring and was genuinely miserable to shoot DA.
>Higher capacity
Technically yes from the factory. However the 15rd P30SK mags are an option for the P2000. All you have to do is swap out the floorplate. Though i'm still going to give this one to Glonk hands down because you can buy 2-3 of their mags for every HK mag.
>Better grip
At least in my experience the Glock grip angle does help mitigate recoil somewhat. That being said I find that the P2000 and other handguns with more 'traditional' grip angles tend to point much more naturally for me. I have also found that the P2000 is easier for me to consistently build a good grip on while drawing from concealment holsters, especially any holster with a forward cant angle.

There are any number of good reasons to just buy a Glock brand Glock, it does have some definite advantages with regards to cost and availability of parts/magazines. However if you like the P2000 it's a solid handgun. Neither is going to let you down if you do your part.

They are only comparable with light projectiles out of short barrels like 3". .357 Magnum offers slightly higher muzzle velocity and energy than the .357 SIG when comparing full-power loads of the same bullet weight (125 gr), where the .357 Magnum typically exceeds the .357 SIG by approximately 100 fps. However, once you start getting into longer barrels or using heavier projectiles like 158 gr or 180 gr, then you'll see the magnum far outperform the SIG.

That was what I responded to, and now you want to move the goalpost, seriously?

I'll indulge you; here are my two cents: the capacity question is highly subjective; plenty of people feel fine with a 5-shot J-frame, while a few people insist on guns with 17, 18, 20, 21 rounds of capacity. For years I saw autoloader people constantly whine about how much they absolutely need as much capacity as possibleβ€”"if it doesn't have at least 15 rounds, then you are going to die"β€”and then I saw in 2014 those same people buying a Glock 42 (6+1 gun) because vetbro guntubers told them to and then in 2015 get a Glock 43 (the original was also a 6+1 gun). So clearly, capacity was not as important to them as they liked to pretend.

checked, this is true in regard to the compact and subcompact carry (particularly striker/polymer frame) newer pistols of the past two decades; all of a sudden for this newer class of carry pistol muh capacity wasn't a crucial element.
Boils down to a person's chosen carry gun and what they are willing, comfortable and proficient enough to live with
For the 10+ round magazine capacity semiautos, now having been 'replaced' for many in carry role by subcompact/micros, these pistols serve reasonably as home defense or bedside guns

Every part of the P2000 is functional, the rounded melted look was engineered on purpose. It’s a gun made for the shooting man, not the reddit larper and the /k/ underage nogunz poster (you)

How different are the ballistics of those two from a comparable barrel? And if the Sig is the midpoint between them is that also goodnuff? Shame about the penetration but it seems with proper propellant and projectile design it could be fixed. It's a shame because the potential for the round is there (same with super hot loaded .40 for that matter) just underutilized imo

.357 SIG and 9mm +P+? A lot closer than you'd think. That's why S&W invented the .356 TSW cartridge, which has the same shape as 9mm and outperforms .357 SIG.

I don't like the slide serrations even though they're half the point of the switch from the PPQ. They're ugly, require the slide be bulkier, and aren't even better practically speaking. The trigger is fine I'd say it's better than a stock glock but not by that much and neither trigger is very good. I actually think the new VP9A1 is better and I hated the first VP9.

And Swiss national and Cantonal police, and numerous glowing agencies, and a few German police forces. IMHO most of the potential buyers already had USP Compacts.
USBP gimped themselves going for the .40 with the heavy LEM - if they were in 9mm from the get go in the Swiss light LEM + Decocker setup they would have stayed in service much longer

Turner's is a small chain. They recently bought out another chain, Second Amendment Sports, when the owner wanted to retire, and didn't change anything but the sign in front of the building. I don't know if Turners is still using the facility for the same purpose, but 2A Sports had a shop in Tucson they'd deliver everything to, then convert it so they could sell the product in California. (aka adding fins and bullet buttons, or disassembling magazines to make "parts kits")

Good but it doesn't 'beat HK'
though Smith & Wesson semiauto pistol slide finishes have improved over the past decade

>option for metal frame
Not sure this is a great 'advantage' but seems like S&W is ? the only manufacturer doing this with striker/polymer handguns, so they've carved out a niche

>I don't know if Turners is still using the facility for the same purpose
i think they are
just bought a non-factory CA configured M&P FPC 10mm and haven't seen anyone else here offer it, only the 9mm since that comes from the factory with the gay fin pre-installed, but the 10mm requires a middle-man to install a fin before importing it to this gay state and I've only seen it at Turner's so far

on topic, I got the P2Ksk in 9mm last month for $500 smackers and was impressed at its quality
say what you want about Hechler&Cock but their firearms are pretty well refined

decided to get the normal size P2K in .40 for $450, but it was sold out in every Turner's
I refreshed almost every day and finally saw 1 in stock about 40 mins from me, drove there the next morning and got to the door right when it opened, behind like 4 boomers who were waiting at the door to buy ammo
but when I got in there was already a cock sucker checking out with the P2K, faggot must have sniped the employees before the store opened or some shit

I was finally able to score 1 a couple days ago when another Turner's got 1 in stock,
had to wait a fucking hour before my number was called because so many retarded boomers like to waste their time looking at 5 different guns then walk out without buying anything
anyways I think it's the finest pew I've bought new at that price point

Hechler&Keckler guns are very very nice, but I can't swallow spending nearly $1k for a polymer pistola
but for $450 or $500 it's amazing and glad I bought a couple before they're gone

I also regret not getting the PX4 when they were like $300 last year after rebates and shit at Turners

they still have plenty of the P2Ksk in 9mm for $500, and 1 P2K 9mm at the El Cajon location but you'll need a manager to price-correct since it rings up for $800 and the sale lasts until September 11th

Any '90s-2000s era HK handgun, and the Beretta Px4 can still be snapped up in the under-$600 (and less) range, if you are patient and keep looking. These are the finest modern pistols available period.
Why people even bother with glocknu-SIG slop is incomprehensible.
