With my limited knowledge, I'd say only the SPY-6 in a 3d Aegis network could reliably track and obtain lock on an F-35 from over 30 miles away.

Qatar building where hamas was staying in got bombed by Israel. Qatar fields Patriot and THAAD but it's more than likely they were working together with Israel.

yah no
and the dogshit israeli vocabulary of calling everything and everyone a 'terrorist' ship sailed 2 years ago after watching scumbag idf behavior in Gaza

Actually, yes. There was a case about a year ago where the pilot accidentally ejected from an F-35 and the plane kept flying. We actually had no idea where the F-35 was until someone reported a crashed jet.
>>64244458
I wonder how much of that was just how amazing the stealth tech was vs. our military actually picked it up but ultimately decided to not say so in order to protect full capabilities or to play to the international optics that our F-35 is so good, even our own detection system had trouble.

No they can't. This incident either shows that the f-35 is invisible, or that Qatar was told to stand down and act like they got hit out of the blue after the fact. There's literally two possible options here.
>f-35 is invisible and Israel is insanely bold >f-35 is not invisible and this was just a staged event to kill off the last leaders of Hamas.
>>64248958
Option 3: F-35 not quite invisible, but enough to exploit confusion. By the time somebody got on the line with the IAF to ask why there were F-35s in Qatari airspace, the missiles had already landed.

Occam's Razor, obviously. The affirmative evidence is profusely stronger that the negative evidence. Look at what you know of Qatar's AA systems and the f-35. Look at the response from the US and Qatar. This was a corroborated conspiracy.
>>64249951 >Look at what you know of Qatar's AA systems and the f-35 See>>64244458
Qatar is using American Made systems that couldn't find an F-35. The simplest answer is that Qatar didn't see the F-35.

He's probably saying that they typically rely on transponders to keep tabs on the f-35 within the US. No need to put the anti stealth radar there, or maybe they just don't use it for opsec reasons.
>>64250056
They wouldn't be actively searching for stealth craft 24/7 and also the fact that they didn't know about his ejection till he called 911 means they weren't looking for it until 10 minutes after.
>>64250082 >>64250173
There's also valid opsec reasons that they wouldn't disclose it even if they were tracking it, since it could be used to infer information about the capabilities of either the aircraft or the radar that picked it up.
>>64250082
That assumes the US even has anti-stealth radar. It's pretty clear we're depending on EODAS and IRST to counter stealth radar than some kind of fancy radar.
>>64250177
I think it's plausible the US would have been tracking it simply because I assume losing the entire canopy from the ejection seat would have a not insignificant effect on RCS. I doubt they made the inside of the cabin stealth too.
>>64250454
Anon the plane was not approaching a hostile area with all the radars in front of it, it was over friendly territory with radars searching for it all over the place and they had a good idea of approximately where it could possibly be because it's not like the pilot was trying to hide or anything.
Plus AWACS exist. If you don't think they had at least one helping with the search I dunno what to tell you.
>>64249951
Except it pretty clear the US barely had any advance notice. It's extremely doubtful that Quatar got any. Occams razor is the opposite. Quatar bases much of its international image on neutrality.
>>64250082 >He's probably saying that they typically rely on transponders to keep tabs on the f-35 within the US.
The transponder was off due to some kind of malfunction from my understanding.
