I dont know table top rules but I know buffy rules
Under buffy rules I milk the cross allergy to wear them down before cutting off their head
I wear full plate armor covered in crosses that have been riveted on
I carry a large cross shaped shield which has a wooden stake at the end that can be used for dusting or to stab into the ground as a stationary barrier
I have a sword with silver inlay and the scabbard is a wooden stake with a rotating piece that can make it cross shaped to wield off hand if I set my shield down
cross shaped throwing stars are attached to my shield and armor with magnets
In a drop leg holster I have a sawed off double barrel shot gun with silver buck shot
Finally I carry a 6 foot processional staff with a sharpened cross at the end that I use as a spear or halberd

Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol (or a Benelli M4 if cost isn't an object) w/ a bunch of esstac shotgun cards color-coded for different loads - rock salt would be good for low level ghosts and spirits, but slugs, buckshot, and dragon's breath would all be in rotation. I KNOW db is a meme but vampires are critically weak to fire and terrified of it in this scenario.
Flare gun, and a bunch of road flares, maybe three or four wooden stakes. A bunch of silver caltrops I have blessed by a priest, and some kind of knife or machete also blessed by a priest - both would be most useful, again, against low level ghosts or spirits, but iirc damage from a consecrated weapon counts as lethal instead of bashing against vampires.

Whatever handguns as sidearms. M79 grenade launcher for the surprise hail mary weapon revealed in the third act.

I have never been able to run a game including TFV without leaning into, or outright confirming, the theories about it secretly being run by vampire elders/true fae/rank 5 spirits/etc with influence over the Deep State. Not at all. The vast majority of vamp and supernatural hunters don't have true faith. The majority of priests do not have true faith. Even low-level True Faith in a person is pretty rare.

It does, yeah, because it's True FAITH. You can't have True Faith in something proven to exist.

And you can have it for religions that aren't christianity (true faith in a credit card is a myth, not real), but it has to be an actual religion - you can't have true faith in a joke religion, like pastafarianism, unless someone built an actual real religion around it.

Anything to do with crosses without true faith would likely not work - some vampiric bloodlines and individuals are susptable to symbols of faith, or a particular faith, but the majority are not.
Silver doesn't work, unless they have the silver allegery demerit, which is an optional system. Silver does work on werewolves, however.

Your wooden stake actually would work if you could get it into the heart, but you have to fight a creature that's almost certainly physically superior to you in every way into a position where you can stake them, then ACTUALLY stake them.

There's a reason why Hunters Hunted says just light them on fire.

The stake also only mostly sort of paralyzes them. They can remove it themselves, but it takes a while.
