I think you have to create a third lane for yourself somewhat. Bisexuality exists to the periphery, it's not a well trodden path to the extent that monosexual identities are, so your self conception needs to be a bit more independent. For me this meant I had to get to the point that both my attraction to men and attraction to women was undeniable to myself.
