Every (working day) I walk to my station to get to work and I have to walk past an area with some houses that are part of the housos + many more that are just lived in by povvos. Unironically, for the past 10 years I've lived here it hasn't changed one bit. Overgrown lawns, torn-up floorboards, graffiti with the local post code/suburb name, cars with half their parts missing. Bonus points if one if them (either a very skinny white boganoid wearing a white singlet or a beefed up islander) is outside and they stare you down while you walk past with a friendly but unfriendly nod.
