You guys got me nostalgic thinking about gay marriage back before it happened. There was a sweet spot right around the early nineties in gay culture before the hedonists took over and commercialized the shit out of vices, when young guys really did want to see it happen and were hopeful it would happen much sooner. I often dont take it seriously anymore because no one else does. But there was a time when young gays didnt automatically end up in the club scene forever the minuted they came of age.

But there was a time, for a brief shining moment when young gays did eagerly look forward to marriage. Not some prospect far off in some vague future, but actual early on.

But then the economy wasnt so hard on young guys either, so hope of setting up a stable home early didnt seem so unrealistic either. People seem to underestimate how hard the economy has hit young guys and their view of life and their future. I guess because young guys have nothing to compare it to in memory. They dont know things werent always so hard starting out. It takes a toll on everyone and everything. The cost of living for example.

So the solution to this seems to be endlessly importing desperate people, loading them up on consumerism for one generation, and then letting them croak. No one ever advances beyond their own lifetime, and now the government in concert with the corporate world can turn the population up or down based on need. But the actual individual citizens are fucked.

In short, the plan seems to be to catch labor "from the wild" outside the borders to import the most desperate easy to please people and never let them earn enough to repopulate themselves on their own terms. So no one ever has anything or can keep it.

This is basically human ranching and they dont want the herd to manage themselves. By keeping them in a perpetual state of desperation, the elite decide how many workers they have, which drives wages into the dirt, as well as expectations and cross-generational standards for better living conditions from the leaders in charge.

They bait the labor as young men from the less developed nations, entice them, then cut them short and basically feed them to death so that by the time their working life is over, they are already near dead and could afford few or no children of their own, so the government has the most efficient supply of working age males only at the lowest cost.

I dont think of it so much as a shadow government or conspiracy; they dont even seem to be hiding it.
