that's what i'm hoping. thanks though. i don't think i need to push anything really not yet, it's still early and feels like things are progressing. i have a lot of things i would like to say to her but as you say i don't want to push a boundary and set off any defensive mechanisms she has. because she's otherwise letting them down.
i spoke to some people who've known her longer than i and they were quite surprised to hear she's even making an effort to see me in person one-on-one and that we're talking as much as we do. so i think things are ok right now.
she's coming out of her shell and i'm rewarding her for it instead of making it stressful, and that's making her want to do it again. that's nice i think.
